A lovely little B & B in Wanaka. The hosts were very friendly and Helens baking was gorgeous! The room was cosy and snug and exceptionally clean. Would have liked it a bit bigger to make it more comfortable. Facilities were good. Tea & coffee making. fridge, flat screen tv. The bathroom had all the right facilities but again a...

We loved our stay in Wanaka, it's a great little town right by the edge of a beautiful lake with some lovely walks in the area. We booked the Provence Room at the D'Lavande for two nights. The room was light and airy, and very clean with an extremely comfortable bed. Helen and Wayne go out of their way to...

We had a great welcome here with cool lemonade on the veranda. Helen makes terrific breakfasts, very fresh and tasy. She also offers lots of helpful advice, both locally and further afield. We were comfortable and very well looked after and would happily go back on another visit. Good wifi was another plus! Penny & Trevor, UK

Helen and Wayne run a, welcoming, relaxing and efficient B&B with great views of the mountains, delicious food and a lovely garden. It was a good example of their attention to detail when they made me a tasty GF slice. We would happily go back to D'Lavande anytime. Cathie and Gerard.

Helen is very friendly and makes a great breakfast. She's a great gardener with wonderful views however we were told very quickly we weren't allowed to enjoy them as the main rooms were her living quarters. This may not have taken us aback if we hadn't had such different experiences at every B&B we stayed at previously in New Zealand....

As others have said, Helen's breakfasts were delicious. Helen and Wayne had some excellent suggestions for activities in Wanaka and onward plans. Wanaka is a beautiful place and we...

We spent three weeks in NZ and this B&B was our favorite on the south island by a mile. Helen and Wayne were great hosts ... she even brought in our laundry while we were out hiking! Very comfortable beds for our three travelers ... fabulous breakfast (made to order) in a lovely setting. Walk to the waterfront in less...

Helen & Wayne were helpful giving us many ideas & information about activities around Wanaka, food & restaurants, history of the region, etc. The breakfasts were excellent!!
