My stay for three nights was just right for taking in several of the many activities beautiful Wanaka offers. The Harper's home is comfortable and their garden is a work of love. But if your're looking for excellence you'll find that too in the breakfast, including home baked bread, pancakes, sausage/bacon and fresh fruit as well. And after breakfast their...

We stayed here during our honeymoon, but sadly only for one night. The room was lovely with access to the balcony with great views of the lake and surrounding mountains. The owners were fantastic hosts accommodating our annoying travel schedule and making us pancake breakfast in the early hours of the morning before we had to leave. The house is...

8 years after my last visit the first place I booked was this home from home in Wanaka. Fabulous hosting with breakfast pancakes. Wanaka is Queenstown without the overdo hype. Beauty not to be missed. You will be warmly welcomed here at this quiet B and B just out of the town centre bustle

Another traveller said Harpers was like visiting mum and dad, and I suppose that sums it up, it was like going home, the moment we arrived we felt so at ease and sensed the welcome. Jo and Ian were wonderful hosts sharing their local knowledge with us and pointing us in the right direction for a walk into town. We...

We only had one night in Wanaka & we made a great pick with Harpers! Ian & Jo are terrific, we very much enjoyed the welcome board, yummy sweet breakfast including pancakes & homemade lemon/passion fruit curd & all the advice about the area. Guests even get a printed list with scenic spots along the drive to their next destination!...

We stayed two nights at Harpers in the end of October this year and really enjoyed it all: lovely cosy, clean and spacious upstairs room with all the comforts you would need, great picture-card view of Lake Wanaka and the mountains, and of course the great breakfasts and interesting discussions during it. A good start for the day. Jo and...

Ian and Jo are warm and very nice people. It is great to chat with them and we very much enjoyed Ian great sense of humour! The room, living and bathroom were comfortable and clean. Breakfast was superb. We travelled 1 month through New Zealand, but this was by far the best place we stayed at. Thank you Ian and...

Harpers is a lovely lovely B&B, the owners, Jo & Ian are warm, friendly, funny and intelligent hosts. Jo goes out of her way to make sure you have everything you need, in terms of the room and the scrummy breakfast (including homemade pancakes). The B&B is bit out from the centre of Wanaka and I am sure on a...

We stayed at Harpers during our honeymoon in New Zealand and immediately fell in love with Wanaka, Harpers and our wonderful hosts, Ian and Jo. Ian's sense of humour is very funny (he reminded me a few times that you could not bungy jump in Wanaka) and we were dying to taste his pancakes. Jo is the most lovely Kiwi...

Mrs Harpers and her husband give you a warm welcome and have been a great help in planning the rest of our trip. She even managed to arrange an accomodation near Dunedin for the rugby game All blacks-Wallabies, while everything was sold out in a radius of 80 km. Apart from a bedroom and bathroom they offer a spacious living...
