We stayed 3 nights in April in this B&B, which was probably where we felt the most welcome of all places we have stayed during our 4 weeks trip on the South Island. It is the people that made the difference :Korey and Anita and their kids made us feel true guests and did so for all those that were...

Well situated for the Mt Cook region. We stayed 2 nights and just loved this B&B. Young and energetic, Korey and Anita did a wonderful job of making us feel at home. The cooked breakfasts were excellent with lots of choices of cold fruit and cereals. Good local restaurants for dinner too.

I was a little concerned when I looked up the lodge on Google Earth, but I needn't have worried as everything about it was first class and in particular, the hosts. In additional to first class accommodation, all the guests were invited to an informal get-together in the early evening and provided with a free drink. I would unreservedly recommend...

We stayed here for two nights in January on the way from Christchurch to Te Anau and were made very welcome by Korey and Anita (not to mention Taffy, the cat). Nice comfortable B & B, good location for trip to Mt Cook (which was actually visible!). Pre dinner drinks with hosts and other guests and good information about local...

Thank you for your review. Taffy is indeed a most welcoming cat and thrives on the attention he receives from the guests. We very much enjoy sharing out beautiful slice of New Zealand with our guests and want to be sure that you know of all the things that you can do here. Drinks are our favorite time of the...

Korey and Anita run a spectacular B & B. The room and furnishings were impeccable - and the company was enjoyable. We really enjoyed meeting the hosts and the other guests for a drink before dinner - and we loved the great referrals, information, and tips on where to go. The breakfast was "yummy and well-made" - those are my...

We stayed one night here on our way from Christchurch to Queenstown. Perfect spot on the way and an easy 45 minute drive to Mt Cook. Room was clean and spacious. Not fancy but fine. Korey and Anita are lovely welcoming hosts. They offered a free drink around 6:15pm and a very good hot breakfast in the morning. Just around...

Very friendly host, and a good B&B. Room was spacious, bathroom was huge, and our hosts were very informative about where we could go for dinner in town. Twizel is a small town, so the options were limited, but our hosts gave us a thorough run through of all the available options. The big plus for us though was Tuffy,...

Yes, the cat is not allowed in the rooms! We are very careful to ensure that he does not go into the guest rooms, as we like to make sure that people with a cat allergy are comfortable here. As much as Taffy loves the guests, we are never offended if asked to keep him outside during drinks. However for...

We stayed here on our second night in New Zealand and was our first night on our Motorcycle tour of New Zealand. We were made to feel so welcome. It was lovely to be invited in for a drink with the other guests before we went out for dinner, which Korey kindly booked for us. It was lovely to meet...

Thanks for your review. We love to have guests who are doing motorcycle tours stay with us as it is a great chance for us to invite my Mum and Dad over for evening drinks and for them to share their knowledge about motorcycle touring in the south of New Zealand. Twizel is not just for bicycling!

When looking for a place around Mt. Cook, we happened to luck out and chose the Aoraki Lodge in Twizel. Only minutes away from the park and beautiful riverbed, Aoraki offers you a chance to unwind after leaving hectic Queenstown and is still quite close to Mt. Cook for an amazing Hooker Valley hike. Korey and Anita were quite welcoming,...

From the time you set foot on the front deck you are instantly feel welcome in this lovely home. Thank you so much for your kind words. We so enjoyed meeting you both and "Elsa" is muchly impressed with her gloves, though she insists on only wearing one..cause Anna pulled the other one off you know...The young man is very clever with the stickers, trying very hard to stick them exactly in the correct spot!
