We stayed at this wonderful motel four nights and we regard this stay as one of the highlights of our NZ trip. The motel was clean, comfortable, reasonably priced, with excellent cooking facilities and a spa bath. The Motel was central to the attractions we wished to visit, particularly MT Cook. Christine and Craig were wonderful friendly hosts and made...

I couldn't recommend these motels highly enough. The service was wonderful, so very friendly and helpful. The units were very clean and the new bathrooms are lovely. I will definitely be staying here again. Great location, two minutes to the shops and restaurants. Thank you Christine and Craig for making us very welcome.

Plenty of room, had Unit 11, which has a separate bedroom. The living space was generous, warm, excellent kitchenette, free wifi. Was clean and we had a warm and helpful welcome with recommendations for dinner restaurants.

Stayed just for one night with a group of friends on vintage car run. Excellent unit, well appointed and warm. Close to town and staff very friendly. Can recommend as a good place to consider when you are staying in Twizel.

The first impression of this place with wall to wall asphalt didn't bode well. Notwithstanding, our room presented better than we were expecting but the room and facilities were pretty basic - didn't even supply a box of facial tissues! Perhaps the large corner spa bath in the bathroom was supposed to make up for the mundane but as far...

Warooka, It appears you had a somewhat miserable time. I'm not sure if it was just our facility, Twizel, The Mackenzie Basin or all of your South Island trip which was a disappointment. To highlight and respond to a few of your points or complaints... The spa baths are a highlight for most people, especially those taking long hikes in...

Only stayed one night. Christine was very welcoming. Great sleep. Close to town and really I'd recommend this place to any traveler. Great tips on places to eat too. Fire station alarm went off and woke us up sadly but other than that all was good. Twizel rocks!

Motels in New Zealand can range from the truly awful to the superb. This motel is everything you could want from a motel. The owner greeted me effusively, introduced me to her beautiful dog and made me feel truly welcome. The room has obvioulsly had money spent on it. Trendy red door leading into a very comfortable and well appointed suite....

We spend there three nights. At first sight, the motel seems a bit old, but the rooms are clean, large and comfortable. The bathroom is equiped with a spa. In the morning we heard the birds whistle, what was very charming. The staff was friendly. You can walk to the shops and the restaurants.

Don't be deceived by the older looking exterior. It has recently been freshly painted. The interior of the 3 rooms we booked were all spotless and very comfortable with fully functional kitchen and spa bath. Delighted to find this gem which was very reasonably priced.

Typical Motel in New Zealand with all facilities. We had a Suite with separate bed room. Quiet at night. Close to town Center with super markets and Restaurants. Nothing to complain and a good choice if you are travelling around.
