Stayed here a week for meetings in the local area. Very basic accommodation minimal bedroom amenities. The smell in the corridors was very old and musty and the bedrooms had a moderate chlorine smell. Could do with some updating and some more amenities such as a iron. …
Excellent in every respect except lack of breakfast and, as all Travelodges wifi wasn't free and the bathroom, which had copious amounts of warm water, was a bit archaic. Apart from those minor gripes I was very pleased.
Needed a stopover after my partners music gig so arrived in the early hours if the morning. Staff were ready and helpful. Everything was comfortable and we had a good night's sleep. The receptionist even provided me with a plaster as I had a nasty cut on my finger.
"Make sure you book one in time as it got very full, quickly."
"Could do with a few more plug sockets. "
"Quietest rooms at the front of hotel, situated less than 5 minutes drive from the centre of town, 2 minutes from A14."
"South side rooms have view of fields then A14, but couldn't hear any traffic noise"
"We always ring ahead after booking and ask for room upstairs end of corridor nice and quiet."
