Four of us had afternoon tea at eshott hall using a Travelzoo voucher. What a lovely welcome. Tea arranged in front of a blazing log fire. The food was plentiful and good quality and the tea flowed all afternoon. The two ladies who served us (16 feb) couldn't have been more helpful. Hard to leave such a cosy and comfortable...

Just had Afternoon Tea at Eshott Hall courtesy of a Travelzoo voucher. Booking was easy and the lady i spoke to was very helpful. I forgot to mention I can't abide cheese sandwiches when I booked but it wasn't a problem as more sandwiches, minus the dreaded cheese, were prepared for me upon arrival. Scones were warm with ample jam...

We have recently stayed at Eshott Hall for 2 nights for our anniversary and absolutely loved it! It was very easy to find off the A1 and is in a great location from which to explore Northumberland, it's amazing castles and stunning coast and countryside from. The house itself is well kept and set in lovely grounds, all the staff...

Possibly best fillet Ive had in years. Food piping hot Reasonable wine list but good red by the glass. Beautiful tasteful lounge for coffee. Similarly good meal next evening, nothing fancy but very...

My wife and I booked for dinner and an overnight stay and can honestly say that it was probably the best experience we have had the pleasure to enjoy. From the point of arrival we were made to feel included and at home by Margaret, a real diamond. Our room was superb, clean, warm and very well appointed and our...

The room was wonderful clean, large and well provisioned. The welcome was warm and friendly and all staff interactions were warm, friendly and most helpful. The decor through out was tasteful and in keeping with the country house style. The food at dinner was of a high standard and based on a menu of seven items (I like this type...

Lovely place to stay. Very quiet at this time of year. We were told we had the Peacock room but we're given the Drey.. However, the room was lovely, warm and comfortable. Very nice to stay and no noise at all. Only downside was that there was only about 6 rooms being used so dining room had no atmosphere but...

We chose this venue because of its proximity to home. It retains its earthy charm which appears to have remained untouched by the Chains that destroy everything in there path to ensure everything has a contemporary twist. The food was very good and the service excellent, although a little rushed. The meet and greet could have been better, and the...
