Our room was comfortable, very tastefully decorated in a modern style. The pool was a great benefit, but the dinners were truly superb. Quiet and serene setting on the hillside with great access to Collioure and Ceret. Staying here was a standout experience in a holiday that has included several standout hotels.

Beautifully restored old farmhouse. Very spacious rooms with separate bathroom with huge walk-in shower. Food was excellent. Service very friendly. Location is not far from highway exit and secure privat parking is available.

The only problem we met was the check-in. We arrived at 13.45h, but the hotel only opens at 15.00h. Fortunately we were let in, but with some grumbling. The rooms are smallish, but well styled. Airco is functioning well. Bathroom is small, but OK. Wifi is good. The treat of the hotel is the kitchen and its outdoor dining facilities... More

We needed a break for a few days, and certainly fell on our feet at this delightful hotel. The situation just off the A9 is so convenient, being within easy reach of Coiilioure, Ceret etc, and yet very quiet situated up the hills in Lovely Chartreuses. The room was tastefully decorated, clean and extremely comfortable and the dinner was delicious.... More

This is a lovely restored farmhouse with approx 12 bedrooms. The rooms are varied. We stayed in a basic room [No 9] and this was very small for a couple. We also stayed in biggerroom [no 5] which was lovely. The food was superb and worth the half board price. Breakfast was very good but freshly squeezed orange juice would... More

We stayed at the Relais des Chartreuses for a week at the beginning of September. The hotel is perched on a hillside in a quiet residential area. The garden is lovely, and there is an airy terrace as well as a sheltered swimming pool. The hotel is well positioned for exploring the surrounding area and for venturing further into Spain.... Don't be slightly overweight as you are looked up and down with disdain. Don't stay for less than five nights otherwise you are not considered as being a good client. There is a set menu for supper at 38 euros per person but you must not ask how much it is. Our first evening the meal was perfectly adequate but... More

“We really enjoyed our room Le Pigionier which was located separately and slightly below the hotel. The dining room is accessible from it by two sets of outdoor stone stairs (possibly an issue for anyone slightly unsteady on their feet). It was also very convenient to the small car park (very easy to load and unload luggage) and swimming pool area. Others may be a little put out by the fact that anyone returning to the hotel by car at night will be passing by the room on a gravel path, but it was of no consequence to us.”
