We had just gone to the coast of France and it was too crowded and noisy for our tastes, so we headed inland and found this nice hotel with old world charm. The owner was an interesting gent. He provided us with a very nice room. It had free wifi and quite fast. There was a restaurant with excellent food....

La bergerie is a great place, we would highly recommend it and come back again. The house is so charming and so are the surroundings. What we especially liked is the friendliness of the hosts, very nice, helpful and above all: very flexible - especially as we like to sleep longer on holidays and have a late breakfast :). Talking...

It was our first holiday in France; we were looking for a place to relax, within easy reach of the sea coast and interesting places to see but far away enough from main tourist crowd. We arrived in the morning after an all night drive. We were welcomed by the La Bergerie's owners Francoise and Wayne with breakfast. Our room...

This was our 6th time staying at the gite at La Bergerie and we hope to return again next year. I think that speaks for itself. If you are looking for a break that is completely away from it all, with lots of interest very close by then give La Bergerie a go. You won't be disappointed.

We arrived home last week from a road trip to Southern France. The four of us flew From Birmingham to Montpellier with Ryanair which turned out to be sensible flight times, a modern well looked after aircraft and great cabin crew. Hiring a car from Europecar which was the worst mistake of the holiday but I will write about that...

La Bergerie is an extremely well kept B&B where you thanks to the wonderful hosts immediately feel at home. Our spatious rooms were beautifully furnished with matching linens in bedroom and bathroom. The breakfast was good with fresh bread, croissants and different kinds of home-made marmelades and a great plus -the tea was brewed and served from a teapot! The...

As a last minute booking to escape the rain in the UK this place was perfect. Easy to get to from Nimes, although owners offer airport pick up you really do need a car as the village has no facilities to speak of. That said there are 2 restaurants that are walkable if you like a good walk. Wayne and...

Our stay at La Bergerie was for my wife and I our first French Holiday. We were there with our daughter and her husband who had stayed here last year. It was perfect. The quality of accommodation, both within the Gitte and the house guest rooms was superb. Our hosts Wayne and Francoise were brilliant. They made us feel very welcome,...

Just returned from yet another wonderful week at La Bergerie. Great hosts in Wayne and Francoise. They are always happy to see us and are so helpful with advice and local knowledge. We stayed in the gite which is beautiful and clean with all the comforts of home. The location is perfect for a relaxing holiday. There is a lovely...

We have stayed in the gite on numerous occasions and intend to do so on many more. It's a converted sheep barn and as such the rooms slope a bit. After banging your head a few times you soon learn to appreciate everything else this gite has to offer and not to dwell on the only bit that isn't 100%...

“One of the bedrooms in the gite slopes a bit, the other slightly less, so not advisable if seven foot tall or unable to stoop a bit. We usually stay in the one that slopes most, so it can't be that bad.”

“Try to avoid the ones over the conservatory as they seem to have mega sloping roofs without velux windows and no window in the bathroom”
