Yes, it could have happened as you reported. There are only five rooms so the bookings are very important, the nights cannot be had back (not like selling sodas and the unsold can be sold next day) but if people know they cannot make it...More

There is a communal bucket shower, which is a big barrel and you have a bucket to scoop the water out and over you. Our kids thought it was really neat. You do get towels in your cabana. We stayed in the Bottle House... More
There is a communal bucket shower, which is a big barrel and you have a bucket to scoop the water out and over you. Our kids thought it was really neat. You do get towels in your cabana. We stayed in the Bottle House which has its own private bucket shower and the Beach House has it's own private one as well.
