We stayed at Casa Iguana for 4 nights and stayed in the Casita Grande #1. We had a queen-sized bed, electricity, running water, and an outside shower with cool water. The room was cleaned every day. The lodge is a short walk away and is a delightful place to spend time with a steady breeze (much cooler than the other...

We loved our stay on Little Corn Island. We've stayed at a few hostels on a few tropical islands around the world and this was a good one. Not a great one, but a good one. First, can't say enough about Doug who seemed to oversee the place in lieu of the owner's being there. He was friendly, but not...

We stayed 4 nights at Casa Iguana in February of 2013, and should have stayed longer! I thought it was about perfect. Casa Iguana is across the island (10 minute walk) from the main "town" area, out of the main touristy part, and on the windward side, which kept the heat and bugs to a minimum. Hotel staff meets your...

A buddy and I stayed here a couple nights and I can't imagine having stayed anywhere else. Extremely accommodating (they pick you up at the ferry and bring your bags back on the day home), charming cabanas with beachfront-facing private verandas, and a fantastic bar restaurant situated on a cliff overlooking a stunning reef, and all run by a friendly,...

We were very excited when we arrived at Little Corn Island. Doug was there to greet us when we arrived on the panga and walked us over to Casa Iguana. The location was on the south east side of the Island where it was very windy. The views were spectacular--from nearly every spot on the property and the grounds were...

We felt like Gilligan and Marianne on Gilligan's Island. Great place with fantastic views and wonderful casitas facing the ocean. The staff were all friendly and accommodating, especially Doug and Jackie. We loved the private beaches for afternoon picnics and snorkeling and the diving was FANTASTIC! The restaurant had some tasty treats too. The grounds were manicured and beautiful! Thanks...

I don't understand the recent negative reviews of Casa Iguana. We were there for two nights and had a very good experience. We found the staff to be very helpful, and didn't think our grand casita was overpriced. I don't remember if it was $95 or $105 per night for our family of four, but we don't think it was...

My wife I spent three nights at Casa Iquana over the holidays. We felt the service was satisfactory, the location on the rocky cliff was beautiful and the casitas were average. The only meals we ate at Casa Iquana were breakfast and it was really good. The casitas offered average value at best and should be cleaner. The location of...

My sister and I stayed at Casa Iguana for 4 nights. When we got there off the ferry boat, Doug was there at the dock to greet us. He had our bags sent ahead and walked us to the Casa Iguana lodge. He was knowledgeable and professional, as was the rest of the staff. Casa Iguana has family-style dinners for...

My wife and I recently spent seven nights at this marvelous resort. We are stunned by the harsh reviews in the past few days. What do these people expect, Club Med? I'd suggest that these folks stick with Hilton Head-type places from now on. If you want peace, beauty and authenticity, this is a perfect choice. We've traveled a lot...
