Thank you for all the best survices during our stayed especially, staffs who helped our kids to pick up the frisbee in the pond & all staff with very nice smile. We had a very great time with nice view, good food, comfortable and beautiful place. We would rather be back again for sure.
Cool and pleasant forestry atmosphere. Each cottage situates under shade of trees. Expected bugs and mosquito but was disturbed by none. Room was clean. Outdoor shower was nice with small gardening. Pool water could be more clean tho.
Around 9pm the burning smell starts outside and lasts all night. Smells like they are burning all their rubbish - plastics, leafs and rubbish collected off the beach. Can’t sleep without headache. No respect for your health or the environment.
Because of a special request i tried to contact the hotel directly. Even after 3 tries (two different e-mail-address and request form on the site) i didn't get an answer. Obviously the hotel is not interested in customers. With that attitude i assume the rest of the service at the hotel will be also bad!
Restaurant is to avoided at all cost.... Fish was like baked shoe leather, prawns not fresh, crab was ok but very small. Definitely didnt justify the price they charge. We were the only customers and in hindsight we should have known better and run away.
We had a good time and enjoyed our stay at the Sunset Park but there were a few downsides: The bungalows (we had a "sea breeze" bungalow) are old and really need some maintenance. In our bungalow even the toilet was outside. Not such a great idea when it rains...the little, way too short roof, doesn't help. The beds are not really comfortable and the wood of the bungalows makes noises because it's that old. Two out of three mornings there was no breakfast buffet, only ordering from the menu. That's ok, but we would have preferred the buffet. The people were very friendly and helpful. You probably need a car if you want to eat outside or go and do some sightseeing. The price of the restaurant is pretty high for thai standards we thought. We paid over 3'300 baht for 4 adults and 2 kids (without having wine, and only one meal was a "foreign" meal with pork meat, the others had thai food). Food was good. The beach was not crowded and well cleaned, but there are many stones in the water. It's a great place to relax, it was so quiet that we only heard the wind and the sound of the ocean. That was fantastic. The hotel is surrounded by almost a jungle or at least a lot of trees and nature. So expect a lot of animals. We even saw a big snake, about 1.5-2 meters. But we were not sure what type of snake. At the end of the day we can recommend the hotel if you want to relax, don't mind the high price and you are not afraid of animals.…
We had the house at the sea. Beatuiful sea. The beach is too much big stone and is not suitable for swimming. The restaurants had very nice food and the breakfast is well assorted. We had the swimmingpool with jaccuzzi, just outside our door. Very relaxing place. The lady, who gave me massage was so good, that I have to return again the next day.
Good for relaxing . Not expensive and comfortable rooms and good service . Peaceful and beautiful views . Not far from the center of Pattaya , 10 minuets by car . Breakfast is at buffet is good enough .
My husband and I have chosen this resort for our Summer holidays with our baby daughter after a deep search and many considerations about other properties in Pattaya. This is the right place for relaxing, but there are a few problems that can make your stay as frustrating as ours. This is not a family-friendly resort, there's nothing for kids except the swimming pool (not for babies) and the beach (depending on the time of the day, it gets really dirt). The restaurant doesn't offer many healthy options, but staff is super friendly and caring. We found many problems in our room. First of all, this resort needs a huge refurbishment. Furniture is really old, air-con was noisy, TV doesn't have international channels, remote controllers did not work, hot water system is crazy (only boiling or cold water, not warm), water has no pressure (take your time to rinse the shampoo, you're on holidays!)... breakfast can also become a problem if you're staying for quite a few nights and you're not lucky enough for having the buffet breakfast (only when they have some occupancy rate they'll offer the buffet). Compared to other resorts around, Sunset is really pricey for what it offers. If it could rise its standards, i wouldn't mind going back because the location is really peaceful. We were supposed to stay 11 nights, but after our first night we asked to move out. As they don't allow refunds and we had to pay in advance, we had to negotiate for 2 days to be able to check out earlier. They tried to upgraded us but it wouldn't solve our problems so they refunded us 4 nights. We moved to another resort nearby paying half of the price... I do hope they can invest some money making it a more modern property. …
The staff is very friendly , good service and polite. Good environment and perfect sunset beach view. The resort is very private. There are a lot of activities there such as can yak , spa and message.
