I visited here only this month to be exact August 27 and 28 2016. Their receptionists quite polite and kind and I don't have issues with that. Only on their defective Elevator. My goodness My room is on the 6th Floor. and also the water supply in the bathroom. again "mas madami pa ang IHI sa tulo ng tubig" and...

The place is easy to find. The room was okay but the aircon is too noisy for my liking. The breakfast was plated and you have a choice of tapsilog (beef, fried rice, egg), hotsilog, longsilog and for the drinks coffee or Milo or milk. We just slept there for one night while visiting Ilocos Norte. Nothing special but it...

Old is a word that jumps out at you. The paint, interior design (or lack of it), tiles, and my room cabinet; they all scream old. I saw some rooms undergoing renovation. Hotel knows what’s wrong but my guess is funding may be short because no one was working when we were around. My room has no toilet seat. Shower...

Rooms are cheaper here, but what we have didn't include a breakfast. The room good for 3 person can actually fit 2 more person per bed. It's a big room with a nice view outside. The shower was broken so we ended up using the 'tabo' or little cup for taking a bath without a pail. Imagine our efforts in...

I decided on this hotel since this is probably the decent yet affordable hotel with my tight budget considering I’m just staying for one night. Making a reservation in less than a month was a breeze as I’m only travelling by myself thus making and inquiring the booking via text message. A day before I fly to Laoag I inquired...

This is budget accommodation, pure and simple. We stayed two nights, while exploring the sights of Ilocos Norte. As such, it was really just a place to sleep. It was adequate for that, but no more. Room smelled very musty when we first entered. This fortunately disappeared when the aircon had been running for a minute or two. The aircon...

Got caught out by Holy Week and this was the only place we could find a room left in the city. Fortunately we only needed one night. So we stayed out at night as late as possible and left as early as possible. Room was something from the '70s. It had basically two single beds in it with 2 'dog...

Almost everything here is old so get ready for furniture, air-conditioning and other stuff from a different era. On the good side it is near the Capitol, La Preciosa ( a must try resto) Museo de Ilocos and other attractions.

Molds all over the CR and we've killed a total of 7 cockroaches in a span of 3 days and 2 nights. Finally, we've heard it's haunted. Didn't experience anything firsthand but it is definitely possible since the hotel is old and poorly maintained. NOT RECOMMENDED.

If you are looking for a hotel or apartelle that is decent but not expensive, you may try La Elliana. It was not a choice for us since this is the hotel chosen by the organizers of the Ilocos tour we booked. Elevator is still functioning. But water is leaking and hot shower was broken then. I like its location...
