He first time i Stayed here was on December 25,2009. I was with my family, we met sir Sammy Blas and he bumped us to the executive room for free! Second time I stayed here was last week, nov 6 2016. The room is very spacious for its price, with kitchen and sala (jr suite)! Homey spanish style ambiance with... More

We really love the place. The room spacious and well-maintained. I love the location as it is near the downtown Laoag City. Room rate comes with breakfast and free wifi. Food at Saramsam was great! Thanks also to Jay for driving us around Ilocos. Kudos to all the staff for making our stay homey and memorable. Highly recommended and we... More

I gathered that this place used to be a residential before it was turned into a pensionne house. Thus the decor speaks and breaths of the glorious days of old and still looking great even today. The toilet in the superior room is reminiscent of the batalan in the province. The antique furnitures compliment the 'balay' theme. The staff are... More

Don't get lured by the pictures. The service is great and the rooms are big and relatively clean but the comfort is minimal. The backyard is full of barking dogs and chickens that won't let you enjoy more than 5 hours sleep. Obviously the acoustic isolation is non-existent. The reputation is due to the fusion restaurant next door that is... More

Balay da Blas is reasonably priced but could improve on a couple of things. First, they didn't have a phone in the room so everytime you need room service or if you need to ask the front desk for anything, you had to go to the reception (or use your mobile phone if you don't want the exercise). Which leads... More

We were billeted at the old building which reminds me of old houses. The interior decorations had old aparadors of the sinaunang panahon. It was a comfortable stay, staff were very polite. Would recommend this place.

Big, clean and comfy bedrooms with free breakfast for a low price.Located within the city. Staff are nice and accommodating. Free parking but limited slot. The pension house has it's own restaurant that serves authentic and mouthwatering Ilokano cuisine. Highly recommended!

I booked 2 deluxe rooms at the new building, room 8 and the suite no. 2 at the old building. If you like atmosphere and heritage, the ones in the old building are spacious and fitted with colonial furniture. Room 8 has a beautiful shower stall. The ones in the new building are your standard hotel rooms. All the rooms... More

We stayed here because of a friend's wedding at Paoay. We also asked them to pick us up at the reception at Currimao. Staff was very friendly and really helpful. We kept on adjusting check in dates and pickup time but they were patient enough to give us what we needed. Always look for room 8. It has the best... More

We stayed here for 3 nights in April 2016. Our room was the cheapest and was simply furnished, quite basic but comfortable and clean with an en-suite shower room and toilet. The restaurant is considered one of the best in Laoag and we enjoyed our two evening meals there. Breakfast was included in the price and was very good also.... More
