We stayed a few days in this hotel and on our last day 80 dollars disappeard from our room. The attempt to find a solution with the owner of this place failed. He would not be interested in this situation and rather accuse us of being liars. I would not recommend anyone to stay here considering that there many other...

***Warning*** I stayed in this guesthouse for 4 nights. I always took my stuff (money, passport, credit card) with me but on my last day I hid it in a bag in a gopro case and when I came back i packed my stuff and recognised that my money is missing. We went down to the owner and he did...

I stayed here for a couple of days and between the 6 a.m. construction, the "screaming maids" (usually starting around 7 a.m.) and the obnoxious tourist (usually starting around 6 a.m. [or so]); I never could get a good nights sleep. This is a very noisy place. The rooms are "OK" (hot water is "hit and miss"); the staff is...

The room was good for the price we paid (60.000kip for a twin room) but I would never recomment this place to anybody. In our second day in the town, we left early to go to the Plain of Jars. Just before, I decided I did not want to bring all the money with me so I left some in...

Thought we would check this place in the heart of the tourist part of town as it is a hotel. At a price of 100000 kip we did expect much and it was ok for the price. It was a decent sized room with a large but rock hard bed, air con that didn't want to be adjusted, a Lao...

Phonsavan has limited choices. I travelled here with Lao work colleagues and they think, value for money, it's one of only two places to stay in this town. The rooms are large, clean and have the basic necessities. The bed is perhaps the hardest I have experienced in all of SE Asia's hard beds! It honestly feels like it's made...

Staff friendly, room reasonably clean, free coffee in the morning in the lobby. They didn't give us fresh water every day, and didn't clean the room on our last day. We were there for 4 days as one of got sick. The rate was pretty good. There was cable TV, Fox movies and free WIFI. Easy to find and across...

There are a number of different rooms available but I didn't see anything other than a twin. They have Wifi in the lobby but I couldn't get it in our room. We paid 60,000kip per night and stayed for 2. It is in a great location for eating and organising your trip and is about 1km from the bus station...

Rooms and bathroom were large. Plenty of space for bags and it is possible to shower without getting toilet wet. But beds are rock hard and you can feel the springs. Also walls do not offer much insulation from noise outside. Paid 100k kip per night, you could probably find something better nearby.
