Normally we are very happy with just a little bit of service and we are not used to complain at all about anything but the receptionist in Malany 2 was very unfriendly. He pushed us to book tours with him and even when we booked somewhere else, he kept pushing us to book with him. At some moment he had... More

Noise from Sakura bar not much of an issue unless your trying for an early night, it's mainly the people in the street after that makes it hard to sleep. Room was a good size but due to the only window facing the corridor outside the only light was from a harsh fluorescent light. Room wasn't touched for the whole... More

Good location however opposite the busiest bar in Vang Vieng, you can hear the loud music until 11.30 then you have to deal with people shouting and hanging around outside (we had a ground floor room towards the front). So no early nights! Our room wasn't cleaned within the 4 nights we stayed here. No clean sheets, towels, bins weren't... More

This was our first really bad experience in SE Asia. Started off ok with the room being (just about) clean enough but things went downhill rapidly fairly quickly. Following a lengthy powercut at around 11pm I went to see why our floor was the only floor still without power as our room was starting to reach furnace like temperature levels... More

We moved here for a couple of nights after staying at a different hostel before, and we were very happy we did! Clean but basic rooms, more than expected for the price. Opt for a room towards the back as Sakura bar is opposite and is very loud. Staff are very helpful and friendly, they helped us to book tours... More

Its 80,000 kip a night for a private room with an en suite which works out £3.47 in english and trust me its worth more than that! Very clean, good wifi, clean white bedsheets which are a must for me! The guy at the desk is very helpful and organised our kayaking, caves, and blue lagoon tour for just 120,000... More

The hotel is directly opposite the biggest and loudest club in Loas. If your looking a party everyday and no sleep it's ideal but the music is so loud in your room until late at night every single night. When the club shuts the public site on the steps outside the rooms and scream and shout until even later. There... More

We stayed at the hostel for 3 night. The first night we got cockroaches all over our room. We went down to the reception to get some help, but the security guy was the only one there. We showed him our room and he explained to us that we had to wait until the morning to get a new room.... More
