we stayed 3 nights at loays place and where feeling good there. nice and quiet, off the main street and still close footwalk to the "centre" and bars. loay was really helpful with explaining things to us and his small daughter is adorable! payed 50.000 instead of 80.000 on the website so it was all good, and, after it was...

I have stayed at Mesah View Guesthouse the last three times i have been to Vang Vieng and have absolutely no complaints whatsoever! Loay and his family make you feel welcome as soon as you walk through the door, the Guesthouse is in a good location, the rooms are clean and comfortable with good bathrooms, and there is great views...

Mesah View Guest House is a lovely place! great prices, very good location, amazing view to river and mountains! But nothing is comparable with the friendly staff... everybody around is extremely friendly, you will feel like home at Mesah View!! Cant wait to get back to Lao and spend some days chilling at Mesah View!

Our time at the Mesah View Guesthouse was great. The location is great and the staff are wonderfully friendly. I would recommend Mesah to any who would like to be closer to Laos locals. Being just up the road from the night life also means it us a nice quite place to rest on those days you just don't have...

Thanks to Loay, pookkee and all the mesahview's staff!  We had really good time there! Rooms are clean with en suite and hot shower. They provide free wifi and tea/coffee. Excellent location, not in the noisy area and not far from the center. Great sunset view! Well run activities. We really enjoyed kayaking! You can also book a bus ticket...

I had a great time staying here. Loay and family make great hosts. The rooms rival some of the most expensive in vang vieng yet this place is half the price. It is a short walk to the centre of town which is no bad thing since its quiet at night but still easy to get where you want to...

The friendliest family run apartments I've seen. I stayed here for 3weeks while working and loay and his cool family are extremely honest and welcoming. The rooms were an amazing price and there was free coffee and fruit in a morning. The wifi is included and he wud always put on the English footie for me. Highly recommend and Laoy...

Friendly guesthouse, 11 rooms, with great views over the river and the hot air balloons taking off and landing early in the morning or in the afternoon, massage room and beauty salon and a short stroll from the noisy bars so you get a good night's sleep, wifi, mosquito nets, affordable prices. Loay pronounced as in TOY is the proprietor. His wife Phai pronounced as in PIE runs the massage salon. and the guesthouse is named after their daughter Mesah. 4 brand new motorbikes are lovingly maintained by Phai's father who religiously cleans them daily. They are like his grandchildren! Three of the top four restaurants as rated on tripadvisor are located close by about two minutes walk. ... more   less
