This hotel has a couple pros which I'll list first: -the view is amazing, from essentially any room, but if you are on an upper floor you can laze away with views of the mountains and rivers for hours. -the location at the end of town means you won't be kept up till 3am from parties if that's now what...

Get the rooms on the third floor For the best views and sunsets. Nice family run guesthouse around 5min walk to main bars. Nice spacious clean rooms. It's a bargain for what you get from it. I would Definitely go back..

There is nothing I can really fault here. Room was lovely with an amazing view. Location perfect & far enough away to not be bothred with late night backpacker revelry. We moved here after being dissatisfied with original accommodation. It was the same price an twice as good. Staff were nice but not talkative. No concerns at all

We had alot of salamanders and mosquitos inside our room but at 9$ a room with a STUNNING view, large rooms and a great location it is a great deal! We had a loud fan and a leaky shower head but the nice staff came and fixed it right away. I highly recommend this hotel.

Rooms are basic, bathrooms are mouldy, staff is useless and uncaring (if no one is around the reception area, look around the corner outside as they will most likely be at a table getting drunk), BUT the rooms are big and clean enough and the view from the little decks on the top rooms are amazing and unbeatable at 80,000...

First of all, the view from your bedroom window is INCREDIBLE! Location is great, 5 min walk from main strip but poked away a little to have a silent nights sleep. The rooms were top quality (especially for the price you pay), very clean, spacious and the beds were really comfy. Staff were friendly and polite. Only downfall is wifi...

Was 3 nights in Jan 2014 in the Mountain Riverview Guesthouse. While the dark wooden house is beautiful and also the rooms are ok, the best is the view from the balconies. The cleanness was rather average (the used soap with the hair of earlier hotelguests was still in the bath. The room has never been made or cleaned during...

We stayed at Mountain Riverview for five nights and would most probably stay again if I were in the area. The views were amazing. Opening the curtains and seeing the mountains right outside was something special. We stayed in room 303 on the top floor. Overall this guest house provides great value for money. The rooms are spacious and clean,...

Pros: -Really incredible views - leaving the windows open and waking up to a view of the mountains was pretty special. -Nice wooden interior to the hotel. -Decent bed/room quality for the price. -Good location at the northern end of the town, near the island. Cons: -Absent/unfriendly/unhelpful staff. -The person who checked us in did not speak any English, called...
