Our experience at Porini Rhino Camp was superb. The accommodations were comfortable, the food was delicious, and the game drives were spectacular. The camp staff was consistently courteous and helpful. Our driver and guide, Hezzy and Jonn, were fun and knowledgeable. The wildlife viewings we experienced during our drives and at the camp watering hole exceeded our expectations. We would highly recommend this camp to everyone.

The things to see at Porini Rhino Camp are vast and amazing. From the specially placed viewing area of the watering hole right in the camp to the huge local conservancy with its grand plains and vistas with the myriad of wildlife one would certainly be amiss if they missed visiting this camp whilst in the area. The guides and crew are so hospitable and helpful it's difficult to realize you're actually out "In the Bush" in the wilds of Africa. Thanks to everyone @ Rhino Camp that made our stay truly memorable.

I stayed 3 nights at Porini Rhino Camp, and I was amazed at the beautiful camp and location. The tents were very spacious and clean, the food was tasty - especially the donuts at afternoon tea - the best! The waterhole and hide was a real bonus - one evening a black rhino at the waterhole, othertimes a good hundred plus buffalo, zebra and giraffe. The game drives were excellent, I did not realise how many black & white rhino could be seen there, plus elephants, lions, and all the general game. I would certainly recommend the camp and go back in the future - thank you.

This was our second camp on this trip & the journey to get here went like clockwork. All camp staff were super friendly & couldn't do enough for you. Tents were clean, well equipped & very comfortable, even a hot water bottle in your bed at night, which was very welcomed at this time of year. Food was delicious, & sundowners just wonderful!! This camp has a fantastic hide & waterhole, where all species come to drink & wallow, including rhinos. Great place, thank you Gamewatchers!

We travelled through 3 Porini Camps and all were exceptional but Rhino Camp stood out most to me. Our first moments in the camp we were greeted by a Rhino grazing meters from our tent flap. The camp was clean and comfortable, the food excellent -all felt under the firm hand of a 5 star hotel. The game drives and vistas were fantastic - trips to the Chimpanzee and Rhino Sanctuaries appreciated very much. The views at sundowners some of my best memories of our trip through Kenya and Tanzania. The evening camp fire overlooking the water hole made even more amazing when one of the Masai staff was able to shine a flashlight across the water to the lions out hunting in the dark.

This was our third camp of five on our safari adventure. At this point, we knew what to expect and were excited to get a look at a more northern location than the previous camps were were at. This was where we also very much appreciated that the staff puts warm water bottles in the bed to keep you nice and toasty as it got a little chilly here. We got to do a lot of exciting tourist-y things on top of the game drives including a visit to the equator, local chimp sanctuary, and visit with the local blind rhino. This was where we saw our first cheetah of the trip I believe, which was extra exciting for us. Accommodations, food, and staff were wonderful as it had been at all the other camps. A benefit to booking this all from the same company was a consistency that cannot be undersold. The communication between camps was really amazing and we got to see them handle some rebooking that a family had to do last minute. Amazing how well things were handled from start to finish of our time there.

We did 3 nights at Porini Rhino Camp before heading to the Mara. We were really pleased we chose this location. The landscape here is so different, and as you might expect there are an abundance of rhino which are rare in the Mara. Special mention to our guides Eric and Noah, they really made our game drives special and really set a high bar for the next camps! We were amazed to see something new on every game drive and they took us to special locations for our breakfasts and sundowner drinks. A particular highlight was watching a pride of lions roaring at dusk, with the little cubs joining in. The camp itself was also a favourite of our trip. The dining tent overlooks a waterhole so we ate lunch everyday watching the giraffe, elephants, antelope etc coming down for a drink or a bath. The staff were very attentive. We are fussy vegans and the chef was very happy to cater for us and the food was amazing. Highly recommend!

We were collected off the airstrip and crossed the equator to a friendly welcome at Porini Rhino Camp. Our 'tent' (No 4) was like a spacious hotel room and very comfortable, with views of elephants, giraffes, zebra & waterbuck approaching the waterhole. Edwin & David hosted every need and the food was beautifully prepared & presented. Our guides ( Wilson & Emmanuel) were expert spotters and found birds & animals we would have missed. No wi-fi so do your messaging before you get there. Thank you for a memorable stay !

Porini means wilderness, bush and that's what this camp is all about. No WiFi....here you come to disconnect from the world. Only one charging station in the manager's office...otherwise it is serene at Porini. The food is down-to-earth tasty and à la carte. There are no fences so animals come really close to the watering hole and you have the joy of feasting your eyes on nature... The staff were kind and helpful....my place to disconnect from the world.
