What a wonderful experience from the fantastic team at Ol Pejeta Safari Cottages - from the beautiful private accommodation to the wonderful game drives and everything in between. The owners, Andy and Sonia and their team made us feel so welcome and relaxed - as well as very spoilt :) Mike, our guide, showed us so much and taught us ( as well as our 14 yr old son) a huge amount about the wildlife and the surrounding area while being charming, warm and funny. The rest of the team added to our perfect stay, with lovely meals, star gazing, camp fires, bush breakfasts and countless other touches which makes this a truly special place to stay. Thank you to everyone!

We had an amazing experience on our safari staying at the Ol Pejeta cottages. Our favorite place in Kenya wow! We love the privacy of each cottage and the food was AMAZING! We saw so many animals and what made it even more awesome was the limited number of other safari vehicles around too so you really can get up close and experience it all. The room decor was amazing and so spacious and the staff extremely professional and kind. Our guide Mike was so knowledgeable and kind and just a great guide. I felt very comfortable and loved my time here. they made our honeymoon amazing. Highly recommend!

We cannot say enough about Ol Pejeta Safari Cottages and its amazing owners and team. We spent three nights here and never wanted to leave. Andy & Sonia have created a warm, friendly, down-to-earth "camp" atmosphere, with five-star service, food, amenities and location. Each of the four cottages is secluded and truly becomes your home for the duration of your stay, complete with wildlife in your private "backyard." Edwin was an amazing server/valet and seemed to anticipate our needs before we even knew them. Victoria is an extraordinary chef, and we loved that she prepared all sorts of food for every meal that we could share family style on our own private veranda with our guide. Speaking of, we had our own guide throughout our stay, but used Robert, one of Safari Cottage's guides, for a night game drive and early morning drive - he was incredibly knowledgeable, friendly and went out of his way to create amazing and unique experiences for us, right down to lions on the way back to the airstrip. (And be sure to ask to see his incredible wildlife drawings and artwork). A special shout out to Robert, the night security team member, who each night night made us a roaring campfire and another in our room, and would greet us excitedly after each game drive and dinner to show us the nighttime sights and sounds of Ol Pejeta. We absolutely loved it here!

The is most fantastic “camp” we have ever stayed in. The owners, Andy and Sonia Webb, were the best hosts ever. The accommodations are in individual cottages with dedicated cook and butler- just fantastic. The surroundings are lovely and peaceful. The hosts organize bush breakfasts’ and wonderful sundowners and spend time with the guests with great conversation . This was our favorite ever!

Our first-ever safari camp could not have been more idyllic. Our guide extraordinaire, Mike, picked us up from the airstrip and our adventure literally began around the first bend with a herd of elephants. We later drove into a thicket and arrived at our cottage door to a cocktail and we moved through to the veranda for a welcome introduction with Andy while we watched an impala and then an elephant visit just across the river. The cottage with 2 bedrooms, a spacious common area, a veranda perfect for afternoon naps, and the secluded landing at the river, along with private chef Jarom and waiter John made our family stay as comfortable and cozy as the hot water bottles in our bed each night. Meals and snacks were all great and when we asked for a meal of local dishes, it was served with great pride! I don’t want to spoil the little surprises that made us feel so welcome and special. Some of the highlights of our 3-night stay were following a cheetah on the hunt, lions in love, a hidden lioness with 1-week-old cubs, a little hike to see some hippos, stargazing with Peter our night-guard, a quick stop to check out the chimpanzees, an evening drive through a herd of buffalo, an amazing horseback ride to visit the last Northern White Rhinos, and many great conversations shared with Mike and Andy at breakfasts and sundowners in the bush sharing their love for the area, the animals, and the adventure!

Wow! What an incredible stay. The environment, accommodations, service, and the people were all A+++. The wildlife game drives were outstanding, we saw 6 out of the big 7…. The Leopard eluded us but it eluded almost everyone! Around 200 rhinos are in the conservancy which is a real treat, as these are endangered species and Ol Pejeta has done an amazing job with them. Giraffes everywhere, we saw lions three separate times, cheetah twice (including a rare live kill of a small steenbok), Buffalo, zebra, gazelles, elands, baboons, all sorts of birds, and more. Perhaps one of the very best parts was the warmth and kindness of the staff who live on site, and their extremely high level of service and awesome culinary skills. Each cottage gets your own chef, security (from Buffalo and elephants) guard, waiter/bartender. The cottages themselves are very very nice, and your hosts Andy and Sonya have been doing this for decades. They certainly have it figured out, and they are SO cool. The food is amazing, and make sure to get in on some volleyball fun with the staff in the afternoons before your sundowner game drive. Typical day looks like this: coffee brought to your room, then AM game drive with picnic breakfast out in the field, come back and chill out…. Then lunch, then more chill time (we did naps, workouts, volleyball, hanging with staff, journaling, photo editing). Then you go for your sundowner game drive with tasty snacks and drinks… back for MORE killer food for dinner, and your night guard will have a fire made up for you. Then chill out and hit the hay! Highly recommended.

The Ol Pej Safari Cottages were the first stop of our family's 10-day, big-5 safari and we didn't want to leave! So be careful if you also start here - you might end up wanting to cancel all of your plans too! We stayed for two incredible nights and were enthralled by the experience. You could tell that each cottage was meticulously planned out - very tastefully and carefully constructed. The attention to detail was great, and they clearly had our comfort in mind. So we give this place 5-stars all around in terms of comfort, hospitality, food, quality of their safari vehicles, guides, drivers - everything was just superb. The owners were also very sweet, welcoming and helpful. One member of our family missed this part of the trip, and the owners offered us a full refund even though they didn't have to. They would stop by each day to chat with us, telling us stories of the elephants latest attempt to eat their trees :) Can't recommend it enough!

We were hosted in this magical place for 2 nights by Andy and his staff. It felt like a week! So relaxed. So spoilt. A really luxurious but homely place. We were looked after with great care and kindness. The 'cottage' was incredible. Beautifully furnished and superbly clean. The staff were wonderful, welcoming, kind and caring. They couldn't have done more to make our stay any better and we can't praise them highly enough. Thank you Andy and all your staff. We WILL be back as soon as we can. Aly and Les.

Safari cottages is a great place for your safari. Located in the heart of Ol Pejeta, offering extensive game drives with highly skilled guides and very comfortable houses. At the camp you can expect very nice and professional staff, great food and the possibility to watch animals at night or relax at your own fire place listening to the sounds of wilderness. Highly recommended to everyone looking for a wholesome safari experience.

We LOVED our 3 nights in Mbili Cottage. We received the warmest welcome from owners Andy and Sonia who couldn't have been more delightful and helpful. The viewing platform was incredible - animals galore on the bank opposite and families of elephant within feet of where you can sit. Our amazing guide Mike was a fountain of knowledge and we went on some amazing game drives, coming back with torch lights eagerly searching the bush. We'll never forget sundowners on the equator and a bush brunch, plus sitting around the camp fire with the wonderful night watchman Peter (Paddington Bear). We'll definitely be back!
