Kelling House is a characterful building, furnished with attractive antiques and full of the host's paintings, prints and objet d'art. We booked two rooms and both bedrooms and bathrooms were spotlessly clean, while beds hadcomfortable mattresses and crisp sheets. Bathrooms are small but nicely appointed with a shower in one and bath with shower attachment in the other. We visited...

Killing House has a genuinely home-from-home feel to it. The wooden beamed ceilings of the interior of the house itself are fascinating, the layout quirky (good luck finding an even floor upstairs) and full of objets d'arte and painting which makes it feel like a fabulous step back in time. Should you be looking for an excellent B&B in the Grantham area, look no further than Kelling House. My brother and I stayed with Sue Evans last month whilst we researched some family history in that part of Lincolnshire. We both thought Kelling House an ideal B&B. It is a beautiful old cottage, as you can see from the photograph....

Delightful period cottage, charming in every way. Sue looked after us wonderfully, and booked us a table at the nearby pub for dinner (food there adequate). Breakfast was good, newspapers, and amusing conversation. Seemed a pity to have to continue our journey north.

We stayed here for my godson's Christening nearby last weekend and I cannot recommend Kelling House enough. Sue and her lovely dog Missy are the perfect hosts, our room was spotless, breakfast was delicious and our very comfy bed was turned down while we were out for supper! 5 out of 5

An extremely enjoyable break. Sue's attention to detail in the house is remarkable. The bedrooms are charming with superb bed linen and sparkling white towels. The garden is a delight as is Missy, the dog!
