We visited Wakatobi as part of our honeymoon and are glad we chose this place for that purpose. Wakatobi is a fantastic bubble in many ways. The people there, how it is run, its isolated location and the bubble they create for you. A fantastic place where you feel so welcome and happy it is hard to describe. The ethos...

I have been fortunate and traveled to many places to dive. This is currently my number one favorite. We traveled with a group of ten and they gave us our own boat for the week plus two guides. The house reef, is unbelievable. You could dive this reef alone and still not see everything. And then there is the resort....

Diving: Very good. Deserves 4 stars for excellent Dive Team and Boat Crew. Loved the Roma and Zoo dive sites. As other reviewers have already commented, underwater life ranged mostly between small critters and medium sized fish. Occasionally schools of large fish were seen. Most dives featured beautiful corals, all healthy of different colors and varieties. Saw one cuttle fish,...

Best diving resort I ever went to. Starts with the welcome at Bali airport to board the charter plane that brings you to the resort out in nowhere. Staff has been friendly but yet firm. Very competent! No Kids Club, but who needs one when your kid is given a pastry course in the kitchen and private snorkeling lessons? And...

As dive center owner we are very particular in choosing our diving holiday, looking always for perfection. We have been living and working in diving for 20 years in South East Asia and now Italy but never experienced the destination of Wakatobi in those past years, shame for us as since our trip there in mid March 2014, the only...

We spent 11 nights at this resort. Our room was beautifully renovated and beach front. The food was delicious and fresh. The service was absolutely amazing! The diving is the best I've ever experienced. The dive team were very knowledgable and the dive boat was as nice as some resorts I've stayed at. Seriously, after each dive they gave us...

We spent a great week at Wakatobi diving and enjoying company of kind and professional staff and fellow divers. Accommodation is top notch for such remote location. Charter airplane and staff in Bali are making the trip effortless. We enjoyed the food. Diving is exceptional : plenty of extraordinary dive sites and an organisation at the top! Thank you for...

In February of this year I led a group to Wakatobi, and can report that the operation is top notch. I've been working in the travel industry for more that 20 years, and have led dive groups to some of the world's top destinations—places like Fiji, Truk Lagoon, the Galapagos, Raja Ampat and many more, so my standards are high....

The diving is spectacular! The reef life is more abundant then I have ever seen. I was overwhelmed for the first few dives, looking everywhere, taking it all in. We found new and interesting creatures on every dive, all 30 of them (dives that is!) Best of all, from start to finish, Wakatobi takes care of their guests. The staff...

Great diving, excellent staff, good food, and a fantastic location. We've been four times now - 2004, 2007, 2012, and 2013. Make no mistake - this is a dive resort on a remote island, so don't expect amenities like a resort in Bali would have. What you do get is a very comfortable cabin with outdoor shower and air conditioning,...
