Wakatobi Dive Resort has arguably the best reef diving in the world, right at its door step. Within 20 mins of the resort are an untold numbers of dive sites on incredible reefs teaming with fish life. The resort is fantastic and the service five star. Rooms are really well maintained and if you have any request the staff want...

Wakatobi is a very well managed informal diving resort. The dive center is perfectly organized and the 3 dives package offers almost unlimited diving for the day. Groups are small, dive masters very professional and friendly, equipment for rental is very good. Beyond diving, the resort staff is also very friendly and personable, particularly at the restaurant where service is...

Wakatobi is a private dive resort in S E Sulawesi Indonesia. It is as advertised one of the top resorts for diving in the world. I have been there before in 2009 and stayed for 11 days. This trip we split between their luxurious dive live aboard, the Pelagian and the resort. Both were excellent. The rooms are beautiful and...

We spent five days at the resort and 5 days on their live-aboard, the Pelagian. The resort combines an amazing dive experience with a true relaxing, beautiful vacation. The resort supports some 300 people through employment and also supplies electricity to the village. This has keep fish dynamiting away and leaves stupendous reefs and huge schools of varied fish. Staff...

From the first email contact to the last "good-byes" I felt truly like I was in Paradise. Here are the top 20 things I loved about the Wakatobi resort 1. The staff calls you by name 2. Every meal is a 5-star delight 3. The diving is beyond amazing - up to 5 dives per day + snorkeling 4. The...

Very disappointing. The advertising leads you to expect a first class liveaboard. The reality is that it is fairly ordinary. The dives are very good but the boat not so. Four of the rooms are very large but cabin number 6 is tiny.We had cabin number 6! There is no dive deck, the kit staying on the tenders. This makes...

We visited Wakatobi for a little over a week in October 2016 with a snorkeling group. This place is amazingly beautiful. There are fabulous reefs and glorious fish right in front of the resort, and short 5min boat rides away. Just walk out of your bungalow or villa and jump in! The place has wonderful food- it really is the...

I waited months to visit Wakatobi. Main purpose was to scuba dive. And no doubt quite impressive I must say. Greeted by friendly staffs at the Ngurah Rai airport. and handled like the VIPs. When we arrived at the resort no doubt pristine and crystal clear water like many photographs promoting this island. It wasn't exaggerated at all. It is...

The manager and staff were very understanding about partial disablement and were a tremendous help giving us a very comfortable bungalow close to most things. They helped getting on and off the boat as well as in and out of the water. Because of this we were able to enjoy snorkelling the reefs which are dense with coral and have...

We can snorkelling and diving from a beach even without a boat, about 8-10 metres from beach we can reach a dive spot with 30 Km of depth. and of course we can see the beautiful scenery when we are snorkeling. Family trip will be nice and cheap at this island
