We have stayed here almost every year for the past 20 plus years. They updated the rooms years ago and I still love the décor! They are affordable rooms and include all the amenities! The attached restaurant--that's another story. The food and service are under par--but we don't come for the restaurant. The staff is friendly and take care of...

Sad. We have been going to the Pioneer for over ten years and loving it and the people in and around the Lodge. We even had the pleasure of meeting the owners one weekend, Brett Maru and wife. Not sure if they are the current owners, being the way we were treated on Feb 11th 2017. We have always overlooked...

I chose this place because it was one of the lowest cost options in town, so I wasn't expecting much. But I was pleasantly surprised. It was clean, and very conveniently located. There are newer properties around so you can get nicer accommodations if you want, but the Pioneer Lodge is definitely an acceptable option if you don't want to...

We stayed at this hotel in January while visiting Zion National Park. The room was clean and tidy. The bed was extremely comfortable and was the best bed we slept on during our three week trip. There was also a small kitchenette in our room to make tea/coffee. The hotel is in a great location to visit Zion National Park...

This hotel is perfectly located a very short drive to Zion National Park. It has amazing balcony views of the park. The room has a lodge look and feel about it and is comfortable and spacious with room for a small table and chairs. Modern tv, coffee maker, fridge, microwave, free wifi all included. Shower is fairly average, took a...

Made reservation in early December because Zion is our favorite place to visit. So much so that my wife and I were married in Zion. Fast forward to January and there's a rock slide at Zion on January 14 that prevents anyone the ability to go past the visitor center. I contact the Lodge on Saturday the 14th to cancel...

Awesome location. Approximately 5 minutes away from the entrance of Zion national park. Lady at the front desk was super friendly and extremely helpful. She was knowledgeable about local restaurants and help us locate a fantastic Mexican restaurant across the street. If you're visiting in winter be advised that some shops are closed for the slow season and entertainment is...

We've been to many national parks and monuments and prefer traveling in the winter since less tourists are out at this time of year. We got to zion when it was snowing and raining, so it was perfect having our hotel so close to the entrance of the park. The rooms were nice and partially updated. The showers were nice...

Very nice place to rest after being in Zion National Park for the day. The decor is fun and best comfortable. The hotel is near to many places to eat and very near to the NP. Staff was friendly and coffee is available in the lobby.
