Detailed Reviews
Our stay at this property was perfect! Very clean and beautiful atmosphere. The location was great, very close to many restaurants and shops, and a 5 minute shuttle ride or drive to Zion. The restaurant on site was delicious and very filling after an exhausting day at Zion (filet and salmon). Parking was right outside your door. The balcony view was breathtaking. The views on and around this property are just incredible, I cannot express that enough.
The front desk staff were very nice and very helpful.
Due to covid, we chose to not have the housekeepers come in to freshen the room, so they kindly left a bag on the door with fresh towels, toilet paper, soaps, etc., each day, which was really nice. I felt very safe the entire time as well. If I ever return to this area, I would stay here again!

We did not eat at the restaurant or use the pool so I can’t advise on either. I will say that the bed was comfortable, the room was clean, they do have daily maid service, the water pressure is great, we brought our own mini coffee pot for fear of all the places we might stay that have removed them, but there is a single cup maker in the room. Overall, you will be able to return to this room, clean up and relax and enjoy the view from your outdoor terrace. We were on the first floor, room 102, and had a great Mountain View (or is it a canyon, the question remains) plus we could watch the sunrise right from our patio. Can’t beat that really!

We came to visit Zion/Bryce for a couple of days. We loved the hotel and the staff was amazing. The rooms were cozy and the private balcony with beautiful views was awesome. We went hiking (free shuttle to Zion is across the street) every morning and then would sit by the pool in the afternoon. The steakhouse located in the hotel is also very good. Overall, It was very relaxing vacation! FYI due to covid the shuttles in Zion are running on limited capacity and must be purchased in advance for one dollar.

Genna speaks to you with no respect and has no class. She was speaking this way in front of a trainee.
We requested a room with no noise. She said we got the best room with great views and lower level under a large suite to where we shouldn't hear anything. FALSE, there was a wedding party in the pool all night, and kids running back forth in the suite above us and next to the stairs. Night staff said they would move our room across the hotel away from the pool etc in the morning. Morning came and Genna said she wasn't moving us and we had to leave. She said her manager Erik who is working from home would tell us the same. We were homeless, had a 15 day booked for our 12th year anniversary and birthdays celebration at this hotel for thousands of dollars, flew in from another state and having to find a hotel during spring break. We asked if we could leave our bags while we look for another hotel and Genna said sure but we are charging you for another night. I made the reservations with her weeks before and she said we we're getting a quiet room with views and so majestic. We got a room viewing the parking lot and the pool and the sounds of kids running back and forth above us and the sound of the highway. The worst part of it all is, as we were trying to resolve changing rooms with Genna she threatened to call security to move us out of the hotel. We are in our 70's! Worst experience in hospitality we have ever experienced.

Ms. Eells, We are sorry you are unhappy with your stay. We do our best to accommodate all of our guest requests. Unfortunately, we cannot guarantee to accommodate them all as we have many guests with many requests. We sell out most nights, making it often difficult to rearrange certain room requests. We are a small property and cannot change someone else's room type or reservation to accommodate others. However, we were able to switch some rooms around so that we could put you in a room that would be next to your daughter's room when she arrives in a week. Each of our rooms have a view of Zion Canyon and the surrounding mountains so we are sorry to see you could not enjoy the view from your room and only focused on our parking lot. We are also sorry to hear of other guests being noisy, our front desk is available 24/7 and would be happy to assist if the noise is excessive. We have offered to allow you to cancel your reservation for free and find better accommodations for your situation but you have declined that offer. Making these unfounded accusations towards our staff is quite shocking and rude on your behalf. Jenna has been very patient and helpful with you even after you proved to be extremely demanding and difficult to work with.

We received a warm welcome at the Lodge in beautiful Springdale. Not only did every room on the property have majestic views as the name implies, but it was also the meeting point for Zion Jeep Tours, and we received a discount on those tours for staying here. The pool was very nice, and they made sure we got a quiet room on the second floor (no elevator, which was fine for us - just be aware). Rooms do not have microwaves, but there is a communal microwave in the lobby, along with plastic silverware, plates, and condiments. We wanted to stay longer and hope we can do so again!

The view is beautiful. The front desk told me our 1st floor room balcony opened into the pool area. Non of the rooms open into the pool area. A second floor room is better for a better view and would have asked for 2nd floor if i wasn't given incorrect information. The woman at the front desk during check-in was rude, there is no other way to describe it. I made my reservation through Hotels.com, when I called the hotel (website provides an 800 number), I finally got someone to answer (she was rude) the phone, they told me the pool and restaurant were closed due to covid19 and would stay closed until the virus went away and hung up. No where on the website did it mention a closed pool or restaurant. I called Hotels.com to cancel they called the front desk and were told the pool and restaurant were open and the Majestic would charge my card if I didn't show up. Hotels.com gave me the "hidden" phone number for the front desk.

We stayed for three nights to use the National
Park. We were nervous reading the reviews as they seemed mixed but we were happy.
Laundry room available which was handy for us.
Room was large, decoration was good, very comfortable and clean and was made up daily. Fridge in the room was handy, the free coffee and microwave in reception was also handy.
The bus stop for the National park was great and free of charge, very easy to use and not to busy being the first stop!
Most staff were super friendly, just one lady when we tried to check in was not helpful nor friendly - it seemed like she didn’t really want anyone there.
The restaurant next door was good, we enjoyed the good food on two nights. The staff in there were really friendly. It’s a real shame they don’t do breakfast, we could have done with this.
Zion National park was amazing, well worth the entry fee for the days we were there. We did most of the walls that were open

We feel this lodge has the perfect location, not so close to Zion National Park where you're always in the middle of traffic jams, hard to get in/out. It is located before the town area, super quiet at night. Staff is very friendly. Parking is complimentary, but they do keep a close eye on the situation because parking is so scarce around the area.
Our room is quite large, ample space to spread around. It has a small refrigerator so perfect to store some breakfast items. The bathroom is slight small, but adequate for a national park lodge.
The view is just beautiful. We also had dinner at the Stagecoach, which made it very convenient, just steps away and walked there.

Website says restaurant on site. It wont be open until at least Spring. No breakfast offered. No elevators Has a small store and gift shop as well as museum and the last shuttle stop outside of town. It was a very busy week after Christmas so taking a shuttle thru the park was necessity. We chose to park at the visitor center and waited about 45 minutes to get on a shuttle. We were on first floor and had a small patio with double door from the room. Anyone on the patio can see into the room from openings on the sides of the blinds on the doors and window. No total privacy available.

This is a motel-type hotel with two buildings consisting each of two floors. The lobby , a restaurant and a gift store are in another building. There is no elevator to the second floor but just stairs. The rooms are clean consisting of two double beds. A small fridge and coffee machine are provided but there is no microwave. Each room has a balcony with nice views. . It was very comfortable but pls note that you might have to do a bit of walking up the stairs since even the ground floor has to be accessed via stairs. We were charged about $300 per night which is very expensive for such accommodations but the national parks are in demand and that is the market price. There is a heated pool and jacuzzi. This hotel is about 4 miles from the entrance of Zion Park. This is no value play but of you can afford it, it is recommended.

Thank you for staying with us George, we appreciate your feedback and review. We do suggest visiting Zion in the winter if possible, the rates are more affordable, the trails are less crowded and it's hard to beat the views of the sandstone snow capped peaks!
