Closest hotel located only 100 yards to the entrance of Zion National Park. Lovely, clean and not too expensive rooms. We did not have to fight traffic to get tot he park. Hosts were extremely pleasant. We had a covered porch which gave us incredible views as the sun rose and later as it set. a definite place to stay!

Hotel's Favourite
My wife and I stayed here May 2023 as the last stop on our tour through Utah's Mighty 5 parks and it was a great base from which to explore Zion. Our room (524) was large, comfortable and equipped with all amenities we needed to prep breakfast and lunch so that we could make the most of our days in the park. The location was excellent as not only was it less than a 5 minute walk (door-to-door) to the visitor centre and canyon shuttle, but also supported by an on-site gift shop, outfitters, shopping market with all necessary groceries, pub/bar with good service and good (we'd recommend the Elk burger) + a really convenient coffee shop (Perks) serving excellent cold coffees (amongst other things) that were a welcome treat on returning to the site after a hot day of hiking. We loved the location so much, the first time we drove any further south through Springdale than the Spotted Dog (another dinner recommendation) was on leaving. Would recommend.

We stayed in a multi-room suite which was absolutely beautiful, seemed brand new, wonderful patio and finishes. When I lost something the manager was extremely responsive. I do however agree with other reviewers that it was somewhat difficult to get engagement from the front desk. We were there during a peak holiday and the front desk was unable to help with any information about open restaurants or hours of operation anywhere, both when I called in advance of our stay, and also while we were there. When we had an issue with the room the front desk continued to give a hard "no" to helping us resolve. Again, the manager was responsive the following day when she was on site, however still dampens the experience while it's happening. The brew pub, market, and cafe on site are nice; we were able to put our name in at the pub and take buzzer to the room until table was ready. The cafe is nice but small; we ordered at a good time but there was a really long line about 30 minutes later, and food is discounted but not included with stay. An included continental breakfast for guests would really enhance the ease and experience of the lodge. Better knowledge and engagement of front desk staff should be prioritized by management, particularly during the holiday or peak seasons. I would argue that the management should appoint a concierge to reach out to guests in advance and provide information. The location of the lodge across from the visitor's station is great and saved some hassle. Again the physical room was very pretty and housekeeping excellent.

Hi sparky207, Thank you so much for taking the time to review your stay. I am so happy to hear that you loved your room and enjoyed the property. I am very sorry to read the experience that you had with our Guest Serices team. We have already made significant changes to this department and will continue to do so. This is not the level of service that we expect our teams to provide. I am very glad to hear that our Guest Services Manager was able to help you with some of your needs during your stay. I hope that you will give us another opportunity to serve you in the future and again my sincerist appologies.

I recently had the displeasure of staying at Cable Mountain Lodge, and despite its seemingly positive features such as a convenient location, cleanliness, and overall aesthetic appeal, my experience was marred by the exceptionally poor behavior of the staff. Upon arriving at the hotel, we expected a smooth check-in process as advertised. Unfortunately, this was far from reality. The check-in time was set for 3:00 PM, and yet, when we arrived promptly at that time, the staff seemed disorganized and clueless about the status of our room. Shockingly, by 3:30 PM, there was still no indication of when our room would be ready, leaving us frustrated and stranded in the lobby. The lack of communication from the staff was astonishing. Instead of providing clear information about the delay, they appeared indifferent and displayed a complete disregard for our time. The attitude we encountered was not only unprofessional but outright rude. It felt as if our presence inconvenienced them, and their dismissive behavior left a lasting negative impression. The staff's mean-spirited and disrespectful conduct continued throughout our stay. Requests for assistance were met with sighs and eye rolls, creating an unwelcoming atmosphere that overshadowed the otherwise pleasant surroundings. It's disheartening to witness such a stark contrast between the hotel's physical attributes and the quality of service provided by its staff. While the hotel's location, cleanliness, and aesthetic appeal might attract guests initially, the overall experience is heavily influenced by the behavior of the staff. In this case, the unprofessionalism and rudeness displayed by the personnel at this hotel overshadowed any positive aspects, making it a regrettable and disappointing stay. I would strongly advise potential guests to consider alternative accommodations with a more customer-centric approach to ensure a truly enjoyable stay.

This was the perfect hotel for us for Zion. We had a family of four in a Wall Bed Suite- our kids loved having both the wall bed and pull out couch so they didn’t need to share. Beds were very comfortable and everything was clean. I don’t believe this room (324) is advertised as having a view but we did have a pretty view out the window and also saw some deer wander by on the hill. The staff was very friendly at check in and anytime I called with a question. But really the main attraction here is the location! Not needing to take a shuttle to start/end your day cannot be beat. The market and coffee shop on site are an added bonus. We would definitely stay here again if returned to Zion!

This hotel was a last minute decision, and I hesitated given the somewhat high price (understandable - it was Veteran's Day weekend at a national park) but I am so glad I stayed. The location is particularly excellent - you can walk to the visitor center, eliminating the need to use the Springdale Shuttle- you only use the park shuttle. This cannot be overestimated; the hotel is also walking distance to a gear rental place for the Narrows, a pub, a small market, and a Perks coffee, so anything you need. It was slightly annoying to walk/drive a mile to the better dinner restaurants, but well worth it. Additionally, I stayed in a 2 queen room, and it was huge - well laid out, with a fully equipped kitchen, which I used to prepare breakfast and my hiking snacks. Everything was immaculately clean, there was adequate free parking. My only regret is not trying the spa.

Stayed at the Lodge 11/5/2023, the night before hiking the Narrows. This place is gorgeous, and the location couldn't be better! Stayed in a Queen Hillside Suite on the 2nd floor. The room was huge. Two queen beds and a pill out sofa, great for our family of 4. Full kitchen, full size refrigerator, and a great sized bathroom. Balcony was a great addition, but we opted to hang out near the gas fire pit night. The views are 2nd to none, and even had a few deer near our window and walking in the parking lot. A few Pro’s: We checked out the next morning, but they allowed us to keep our car in their lot the entire day while we were hiking. It is literally less than a 5 minute walk to the Zion bus stop inside the park If you show your room key, you will save 10% at Zion Outfitters, The Zion Pub, as well as the market and gift shop in the complex. When we returned in the last afternoon, they allowed us to utilize the lobby bathroom to get changed out of our damp clothes. Overall, I could have stayed at this lodge an entire week! Super clean and well maintained. Staff was happy and pleasant. And the views…wow!

We couldn't have asked for a location more convenient to Zion than Cable Mountain. We thought it was even more convenient than the Zion Lodge inside the park. We stayed in 5 hotels on our National Park Tour and the king bed at Cable Mountain was the most comfortable! The grounds/view are amazing and it's right on the river as well with chairs and grills. We couldn't get our coffee pot to work and they came right up with a replacement. Came out the first morning and there was a fawn just lying there outside our entrance. Staff were warm and friendly. Highly recommend this Lodge. The only thing I would say to Cable Mountain is to please have the outside light on to the unit for those checking in after dark. It was difficult to see our room number and the stairs to the 2nd floor. Other than that, perfect!

My husband and I stayed three nights in a luxury suite, and I can't think of anything we didn't like or enjoy. We didn't use our car at all because we used the foot bridge into the park, and we used the Springdale shuttle to go to a restaurant we wanted to try. I really think staying here is even better than staying inside the park because of the hotel amenities and the venues in the Zion village such as the Brew Pub, the Market, the Outfitter, etc. The suite was spacious with a separate bedroom and a combined kitchen/living area, and it was very clean. Having a kitchen enabled us to have an early breakfast and get into the park for the first shuttle of the day, and it was a quiet, comfortable place to relax after a busy day of hiking.
