I travelled alone from Maine to Yosemite (by plane and car). I had no idea what to expect as I didn't do much planning for my trip. I wanted a true adventure so I didn't get travel guides or google too much. I didn't want to ruin it! I was so surprised when I pulled into the Valley and equally...

We had an interesting experience in Curry Village. The staff were all wonderful and helpful and you cannot beat the location. We stayed for a full week and enjoyed the convenient access to the many trailheads on the valley floor and the stunning views. The beds were actually pretty comfortable and we appreciated the extra blankets on the chilly October...

Our trip was lovely. Hiked to top of Yosemite Falls, then had an awesome dinner at The Ahwahnee. We stayed at Curry Villiage in the cute little cabins. Having our own bathroom was a hit. The full size bed was too small for the two if us though, and the mattress is wearing thin. The furniture is pretty chipped and...

Would definitely like to return to spend more time in Curry Village! Really liked the shuttle service and the services offered there. This is a great place to get away! There are several hikes that take you to amazing views of waterfalls and of the surrounding mountains.

Camp Curry is a wonderful experience. It's been running since 1899 and a visit today feels like stepping back in time to a simpler, more rustic experience. Although the showers are definitely modern with lots of hot water, shampoo, soap, and courtesy towels (no quarters needed). I highly recommend Camp Curry.

Curry Village is a must if you want the experience of camping in Yosemite without the hassle of owning and transporting all of the equipment. You don't have to worry about cooking, or setting up the tent or even bringing a sleeping bag. Love it there.

I stayed for 2 nights at the end of April. Booking was easy and online. Curry is perfect if you are new to camping and need an intro. I stayed in the unheated tents. I basically just needed a place to sleep. I suggest bringing your own sleeping bag for extra warmth. Restaurant, store, parking, shower is all within close...

In the past I've heard some bad things about Camp Curry, but my experience this spring was great! My wife and I traveled with my parents and we had two tent cabins placed far enough away from most people for some solitude but still near a clean, heated bathroom! Great launching pad for hikes and other activities (rafting was great!)...

The trip was incredible with beautiful sites, comfortable housing, and friendly staff. Highly encourage! Only downside was snow but that's Yosemite for you. If you go, definitely consider bringing sleeping bags for Curry Village as it can get quite chilly at night. That was our fault for unheated tent.
