My wife and really like the 1800's style charm. There is little or no cell service, no Wi-Fi except for the lounge located at the far-end of the property. That leaves plenty of time to lounge by the fireplace in the Winter or spacious porch...More

As mentioned, staff is very helpful and friendly. Tom the Piano Man/Historian was so delightful. DO NOT STAY HERE if you are tech-dependent, entitled, or superior!. The guests were happy to be unplugged, friendly, and communal. No phones, screens, tvs, etc. Board games, conversation, music...More

Hello Karrun6. We replace mattresses on a regular basis. Our facility team inspects them and replaces them as needed.

Big Trees Lodge is near Wawona, you’ll need to take the route Fresno along Hwy 41 either from Fresno heading in to the park, or go into the park first on another route then head out towards Fresno. I don’t know the... More

Hello- Big Trees Lodge is located just inside the south entrance of the park. There is a 35 mile drive into Yosemite Valley. We advise our guests to allow at least an hour to drive into the Valley.
