Had our granddaughters for spring break. They really enjoy their time there. Our lunch was very good. We really liked the deviled eggs. One granddaughter had pesto linguini for the first time & lived it! The burger was big & juicy, the onion soup was wonderful & the Philly cheese steak was big & flavorful flavorful too ! The wait...

The location of this place is great! We had a nice American breakfast with a great view. The royal arches breakfast was our favorite and it is not too expensive! We had breakfast here twice and each time with a great view of the mountains! They also have breakfast buffet for 22 dollars. I highly recommend this place for breakfast....

Despite the battle for the name of the hotel, the Majestic is still a treasure. With it's rustic, beautiful setting amongst Yosemite, the Majestic offers a true historical experience in a well kept setting. The furnishings are old, yet the new contractor seems on track for an upgrade as there was a lot of construction taking place. I am looking...

First of all, I will say the room furnishings are tired, but they are due to be replaced this year. Our room was dated, but had a huge walk-in closet, where we could store all of our gear. We had a room with a view, which was great. The rooms are very quiet. The public rooms on the lobby and...

The Ahwahnee hotel as it should be known is a place you need to stay at least once in your life to feel the grandeur of this hotel and it location in Yosemite. Of course with history comes some sacrifices. But first the positive. We stayed as part of the Taste of Yosemite program held in January and February each...

The location for this hotel is awesome right in the valley and the best you are going to get in the park. It's very cozy and rustic and the views are amazing. You should dine there but my recon is to save your money and do breakfast a reasonably priced buffet is great -- and I am not a buffet...

The Ahwahnee Hotel is a historical classic ART HERRITAGE SITE. We love the hotel because it expresses the essence of the pioneer spirit and what it means to be an American. Teddy Roosevelt began a tradition of preserving beauty for everyone and not just the rich and entitled. The national parks belong to all of us. The staff is very...

Well. lets start on arrival. Valet parking excellent. All OK so far. Check in disaster. Very very rude and stressed receptionist. Even forgot to give us our room keys. As a previous reviewer said 'This place embodies everything that is wrong with the world today. The place calls itself Majestic; however, it has no shame in charging $800 a room...

Good evening Phil-I-am61, Thank you for your frank and candid comments. It is not a proud moment for me reading about your experience. I am not going to offer any excuses. We are better than this and I am very sorry we let you down. I would very much like the opportunity to speak with you and am hoping you...

It is very difficult to get a reservation here, but perseverance may pay off if you check frequently. We lucked up with getting one night here after a first night at the Lodge. It is great fun to be here, though surprising how small (only 97 rooms). It can still swarm with people, particularly during the day, and at times...
