Grandma Yosemite completely intoxicates you with her infinite expressions of love and beauty - morning, noon and night. Besides the surroundings, the Lodge's cozy rooms, the restaurants, services, and activities all contribute toward a very comfortable and special experience. If you're visiting during an off-peak season when its not so crowded and the weather allows, the bike route is fantastic!

The lodge is perfectly comfortable but in no way fancy or formal. The staff was very helpful and friendly. It's a great place to stay with kids or other family members. The food court is open from early morning to later in the evening. Access to the rest of the valley via the free valley shuttle was available every half...

First visit to Yosemite and was not disappointed. The Lodge was the cheapest 'on property' location we could get. The rooms were average but clean. The personnel - especially Pat at the Tour Desk- were very knowledgeable and helpful. We found the Mountain Lodge to be all hype. Tips: use your mini fridge located under your sink (!) and use...

This was our first time to Yosemite. It was phenomenal! We enjoyed the Yosemite Lodge and especially enjoyed the tour of the floor of Yosemite. Our tour guide, Bill, was very knowledgeable and really has a passion for Yosemite that shows in the information he provides to the guests. He was very helpful/knowledgeable about how to get great photos. He...

Yosemite is one of my favorite national parks. Beautiful surroundings, great hikes and waterfalls, exceptional lodging and dining. You have to have dinner at the Ahwanee even if you don't stay there. But the Mountain Room at the Lodge is also excellent and more casual. Lots of activities and programs - can't wait til we go back!

Take advantage of the 72 hour sales at The Lodge at the Falls, Yosemite. Enjoy the gorgeous setting at half the price. Excellent accommodations and food opportunities, free shuttle, great excursions and photo ops.

I finally lucked out and got one of the four Family Rooms at the Yosemite Lodge. I wasn't sure what to expect but we were very pleasantly surprised. The room was very large with nice big windows and a large couch in the "living room", a "dining room table" and then a sleeping area with a large king bed and...

Not as many people as summer in Yosemite. When it snows there it looks like a fairy land. Great hiking. Included breakfast at the Yosemite Lodge was a good deal. The Mountain Lounge has a nice feel to it in winter, great big fireplace with real wood!

Yosemite is a beautiful place with several amazing views, waterfalls, streams and trails. Although the signage for the trails can be confusing. The weather was wonderful. Cold at night but sunny and reasonably warm during the day. The lodge was clean and basic (although no microwaves in the rooms & single cup coffee makers) so you are at the mercy...

Stayed two nights. Great value. Amazing backdrop. Views of Yosemite Falls as you walk to dinner. Walked to all our hikes. Stayed in the Maple building. Shuttle is really convenient to get around and it's FREE!
