Great accommodation for Yosemite Park. Comfortable rooms with rollaway beds available. Warm enough during cold weather. Ask for a ground floor room when booking if you have large suitcases/bags. Good wifi.

The "in-park" lodges in the mountain parks are always so pricey and I usually am traveling on a budget. We love being inside the boundaries of Yosemite so we decided to do it. I priced the lodges that were available and Yosemite Valley Lodge was significantly cheaper than the Awahanee (I refuse to call it by the new name that...

Location is great, few minutes walk to yosemite falls. But room itself is something to be desired. It is clean but not too comfortable. Towels feels like its used and not washed. Toiletries either lacking or just really bad. Would not recommend unless really desperate for a place within Yosemite.

Affordable and with excellent view of nature. Rooms have glass walls, so you can wake up to the view of the trees and the mountains. Has small table and chairs, should you want to sit outside (briefly, because it's cold). Good base to take treks and explore the park.

We stayed for 3 nights over Christmas. I think Santa must not have visited the staff at this lodge. Staff were rude and angry. All with the exception of one cashier at the food hall. He was lovely and friendly. I wish I knew his name.. he had dyed blonde hair, always dancing and smiling. Only staff member to wish...

Dear PwittyPwease, Thank you for letting me know about these issues and I sincerely apologize for the lack of friendliness of our staff. I am new to the property and have been working very hard to build a culture of friendly guest service and it seems that we failed with regards to your experience here. I will speak with our...

I have to admit, after reading the reviews to this place, I was terrified that our stay would be awful, but it was the complete opposite. We absolutely loved this place and would stay there again in a heartbeat! We didn't expect a five star resort... this is Yosemite, not Fifth Avenue. Our room was cozy and the water pressure...

A very comfortable, updated, clean and quiet room. Would stay here again. Friendly Staff and Parking available. Recently renovated. Ask for the corner upstairs room. Pricing is best in the off season.

My husband had never been to Yosemite so we decided to take a quick weekend trip for his birthday. The location of the hotel was unbelievable! We arrived around 130p but could not get our keys until 4p. We did some light exploring in the surrounding area and returned promptly. We had reserved a King room and it happened to...

Great location as the lodge is 20 minutes outside the national park and very convenient. The rooms are basic for the price, but had everything we needed for one nights stay. The showers were fantastic after a long day hiking!

We arrived at the hotel at 10:00 PM on Friday, 11 November. We had one room with 2 double beds and were assigned to Cottonwood lodge. Went to bed that night without really knowing what was around us. Woke up and stepped out onto the patio for breakfast. Three doe ambled by. Looked up and discovered Upper Yosemite Falls right...
