These cabins are very basic, and they are also a bit old, but we found them a lot of fun. Somehow just being in these simple shelters left us with a fun sense of a real National Park experience. It's only a short walk over to the lobby, lounge, and dining room of Old Faithful

We stayed in the Old Faithful cabins for one night in September. The rooms are small but adequate with everything you need for a night or two. Very clean and a good quality finish on the doors etc - they haven't scrimped on the refurb. We had a cabin with a private bathroom -

Advertised as "historical" accomodation from the year 1900, and this is exactly what you get. Comfort is rather low und everything is old and simple, but at least more or less clean. You have to pay for the location, of course.

We stayed in a frontier cabin in July last year and we were allowed to have my 13 year old daughter sleep on an air bed on our floor. It was a bit of a squeeze but was manageable. They charged us a small room supplement of around $10.

We stayed in cabin 101-it was right behind the Lodge. We did walk back to the ice/vending building, and I didn't see any.....but then again, I wasn't specifically looking for one. I'm looking at the cabin map, and I don't see any noted on there.
