We stayed in a tent at Canyon Campground for two nights in Early July. Nice to be in the shade, lots of trees, our site was not completely level but level enough to pitch our tent. Bathrooms were close. No hot water in dish washing room so sorta pointless to have it there. Nice to have showers even thought it...

There's actually shade in this campground! Very nice area. If you want to get an early start to beat the crowds you've got to stay in the park (this is a HUGE park!). Yes, there's people everywhere and campers on top of eachother, but what did you expect? If you want a more spacious campground you'll be a days drive...

Stayed at this campground for 4 days with a pop-up camper. It was perfectly located within Yellowstone. The bathrooms were clean and nice to have actual toilets, sinks and cleaning facilities. It was a little crowded. You need to like neighbors, because they are pretty close to you. It was very quiet and clean. The grocery, deli, showers, and fuel...

Canyon Campground was wonderful. Luckily, our site was in a perfect location. We were near, but not next to, the bathroom. The showers had lots of hot water, the laundry was very clean, and even with a full campground, it was quiet by 10:00. It was a perfect 5 nights.

We stayed at a large tent-only site for six nights. Be prepared for colder nights even in june/july. The temperatures dropped to30Deg F for a couple of nights in the first week of July. You get two free showers per night per campsite and it is enforced. Also, dont forget to take your dishwashing gloves. There is no hot water...

If tenting, and I want a tent only loop, request this on your reservation. My "tent only" site was in a loop with hard sided units and generators running during the day. Take the bear warning seriously and keep your site clean and you will be fine. Grant and Canyon both have shower buildings.

Great place to camp! Grocery store, restaurant, and gas station near the campgrounds. We recieved 2 shower coupons with stay. This may be the only. campsite with shower and laundry. Madison campgrounds, near northeast entrance, had none.

We tent camped on E Loop for 5 nights end of June-July. We were on the opposite side of the road from most sites, and it felt isolated, but was only a short walk to bathrooms & bear box was nearby. It was a little bit steep though. We saw 2 deer and 1 grizzly go by within 50 yds...

We stayed here for 2 nights in the L loop. This is furthest from the "village" and feels nice and remote. 2 free showers per night. Walk to the village which has some nice shops, a visitor center, and 3 restaurants. We loved our stay.

My husband & I camped 2 nights in early June at the Canyon Village Campground. We loved this location as it was pretty centralized. The campgrounds were of a decent size, and included a fire ring and picnic table. Be aware that all campsites may not be level, however we managed to find a spot for our tent. The neighboring...
