We just returned from a week-long trip from Kansas City through South Dakota, then on to Yellowstone. The two night stay we had at the Grant Lodge was just fine for us! Granted the rooms were small (think European!), but the bed was comfortable and the bathroom sufficient. When you book in Yellowstone you tell them the price range you...

My family stayed in the lodge "B" for 3 nights. We found a few good things and also bad things. Good things are: 1. It locates inside the park, so you can save some driving time. However, it locates a little away from many of the big attractions. I think the Canyon village is the best in terms of the...

We stayed at the Grant Village Lodge, as to be honest, this was the only two nights of accommodation that was available some months ago when I booked online for the first week of June. I really did not know what to expect as some reviews were not good, however, it was not as bad as I had been anticipating....

This is a functional place to stay in order to be in the park and ready to go from the start of the day. The lodge is aging - no elevator - we fortunately had asked for a ground floor room as my wife has difficulty with steps. The room has no TV and restaurants are a walk away and...

We stayed here for 2 nights and traveled as a family. The location for this hotel is what makes it perfect in our opinion. Other Yellowstone hotels tend to get crowded only because they are located in what are rated as top Yellowstone attractions. However, Yellowstone Lake in my opinion is simply amazing and that's where Grant Village is. The...

Choosing this hotel is because it was relatively easy to book in the west thumb area... The hotel was decent and it is a hotel style room in yellowstone. The wall of the room was not good at isolating noise, you can hear your neighbors's alarm in the morning and sadly you had no way to shut it down since...

The room was adequate with no frills. The beds were made each night and the towels changed but that was all. I still found yesterday's coffee in the machine. No vacuuming was done that I could tell. Yet the location was good - on the grand loop and near the entrance. Also it's reservation only restaurant was not worth it...

It is close to the south entrance in Yellowstone NP. The newly renovated rooms are nice and clean, though little bit small. They offered unique Yellowstone products: shower gel, hand foam, lotion, hair gel and conditioner. All of them are offered in the gift shops in the park. The small bear soap is also good and cute. NO FREE WIFI...

Even if the hotel is located in the park, the views of the hotel is not very desiring. We got a room that faces the lake. But the lake view is almost blocked by the trees. ( we live in the second floor of the two-floor building complex). Probably, this is already the best view within the whole village. The...

We stayed 2 nights before moving to Lake Lodge Pioneer Lodge. This accommodation was perfect as we drove from Jackson, so this lodge was a good choice. Rooms are old styled, adequate, clean and bathrooms are OK. We dined at The Lakeside Restaurant with basic reasonable food and good views. The plus is that you are in the Park with...
