We stayed at Grant village in one of the lodges in September. The room was on the second floor , there are no lifts but its an easy walk up the stairs. The room was clean and very comfortable with all the amenities that are required for a pleasant stay. We loved the recycling bins in the room. There are... More

Quiet and peaceful. Not fancy but serviceable and fairly clean. Convenient for the central and south parts of the park. Very short walk to pleasant dining. Lots of easy parking. Tour busses use this facility but that never disturbed us.

It was a suitable lodge for our stay in Yellowstone. It was neat, comfortable and convenient. . It had two comfortable beds, good climate control, good bathroom and good storage space. There are two restaurants in walking distance and a trading post.

We stayed in the Elk Lodge and while comfortable it really was nothing special especially considering the amount paid. The rooms are off a central hallway. The bed is quite comfortable and spacious. Car parking is a walk away. If you are on the second floor be aware there is no lift.

Grant Village is fine. It is a complex of separate buildings, with a separate check-in building and a general store. Rooms were ok, clean, everything average. I chose it because we were coming up from Jackson/Grand Teton National Park and it was convenient from the south entrance to the park. It is very close to the west end of Lake... More

While traveling thru Yellowstone one of our nightly stays was Grant Village, Bear Lodge. Great location nestled in the pines. Room was comfy, clean and well appointed. Our only disappointment of our 10 journey, the afternoon we pulled into Grant Village there was a misty rain/hail mix and we weren't able to get out and explore the numerous trails Surrounding... As other reviewers have said, Grant Village is very over priced. The motel blocks have the appearance of barracks and leave a lot to be desired aesthetically. We booked two nights in a refurbished one queen bed room which turned out to be tiny. We were in Bear Lodge. The room was clean and comfortable enough, given the lack of... More

Well maintained, good housekeeping, clean, and smallish bathroom. It was fine and pricey. When in Yellowstone you should not be spending much time in your room anyway. More than adequate for our needs.

Had read mixed reviews about Grant Village, but it was much cleaner and better-maintained than the 2 Canyon Village Lodges we stayed in after this. The rooms all 3 places were identical in decor and accommodations. But our room here seemed to suffer less from "almost the end of the season" lethargy on the part of housekeeping. All surfaces (including... More

The lodges are nice and comfortable and make you feel close to nature. They are located at the west side of Yellowstone Lake and your surrounded by trees. From here it is easy to get around in Yellowstone NP where there is so much beautiful to see. As your located in the park there is no tv, radio, telephone, airconditioning... More
