We did love our rustic cabin and the front porch as we joined fellow travellers for drinks which was fun. Only downfall was that the cabin was so tiny! We had trouble just opening our suitcases and the bathroom was so small and very dark as the light wasn't working. The bed was comfortable and the cabin was clean. Very...

We were a family of 5 and booked two adjoining cabins. Given the price, the facilities were basic (separate washroom block, no TV or in-room wi-fi) but entirely appropriate to the stunning wild setting - we were happy to spend the evenings just gazing at the thousands of visible stars. Everything was perfectly clean and the furnishings were beautiful. Food...

We booked our trip to Yellowstone on a whim. Consequently, there were no available reservations in the park. After calling every morning for several days, we were able to book a cabin at Mammoth Hot Springs for two nights. We had spent three days touring Glacier National Park, so we dropped down into the North Entrance of the park, through...

From the moment we checked in and were told we had to sign to agree we were not going to cook in our room, it was clear that something was not right about this place. Why would anyone want to cook in their room, we thought? But then we found out. Remember that there is no choice of eating location...

We were visiting on a wildlife tour and it proved a good base to explore the northern part of Yellowstone. Spectacular wildlife viewing in lamar valley and fantastic drive up the bear-tooth pass into Montana. Also the hotel is well sited for an early morning walk around the hot springs area. The cabins had resident elk in rut wandering around...

Three of us so we booked the suite-room 401. Amazing views from the room windows. Bedroom with 2 beds and bathroom. Daybed in living room and other shower/toilet. Only the suite has a TV, which was nice to feel connected again, as we'd been off the grid for a couple days. One strange thing is no door between bedroom and...

We stayed hear one night and just loved it very warm rooms a little dated but it doesn't matter you can look out your bedroom window at the elk roaming the lawns. Meals are not available at the hotel but just a short walk across the road to restaurant.

The cabin/room was basic (and over-priced compared to most other places in the world.) The scenery (easy walk to Mammoth Terrace) and the elk (wandering around everywhere!) are really the draw. Just an FYI - the "crib" is a pack and play. The front desk area had a fireplace and some board games. There were ranger programs available nearby.

This was a nice place to stay for 1 day but with the road closure was not convenient to see the rest of the park. Staff was good. Elk were everywhere, but the bull was ramming cars if they stopped. Saw tons of wildlife near that end of Yellowstone. If you are spend multiple days in the park, book stays...

We stayed in one of the cabins, which are very basic and look to be quite old as well. There's no TV in the cabin either. The bed was comfortable. Went to eat in the dining room which has the atmosphere of a train station hall really. The staff was nice and friendly though and the bison burger was actually...
