We stayed 3 nights at Madison and had a good time. Our pitch was expected with the usual fire pit and picnic table. The pitch was spacious for our needs. Overall the site is good in terms of location both in terms of being able...More

Adequate site, well kept campground. Not what we usually stay in since there are no hookups however generator can run. We ran our about two hours a day since we have a regular size, non-propane refrigerator. Cool at nights, no need for air conditioning in...More

There are no bugs at this site. Our campsite neighbors said they'd stayed the night in canyon and they were beating eating by the bugs. But here we didn't get one bite!! Very close to Old Faithful and many other popular spots so you can...More

The camp ground was as you'd expect. Nice scenery, a place to swim, a place to hike. Flush toilets and clean campground. HOWEVER, prepare yourself for an unnecessarily long check in. Holy cow, it took forever as many of Yellowstone campgrounds do. There was a...More

We travel in travel trailer. We charged our stuff in the car though. I don’t think their super strict on tent size and I think you will be fine. I find the sites to have good space between them.

The geysers are SO spread out- so we drove to each one. Once you're at each one, there are many opportunities to walk/hike. Yellowstone is immense- and each section of it is as well. You will love it!
