Stayed in one of the cabins. It was clean, spacious and quiet. It was nice to stay in the park and was the cabin priced lower than hotels in surrounding areas. I would love staying here again and would recommend staying here if you get...More

For your late season stay within Yellowstone, get reservations at the Snow Lodge which is at the Old Faithful area. You are just across the street from the Visitor Center which is right next to the Old Faithful Inn and Old Faithful itself. Rooms are...More

We stayed at the Snow Lodge for a total of four nights (2 nights in Room #3039 – gone a night – back for 2 nights in Room #3002). This review is specific to Room #3039. Check-in/check-out was fast and efficient. Our third floor room...More

The Lodge has 2nd and 3rd floor Rooms, the third floor would be the quietest.

I have only visited in the summer but, without snow, it was only about a 2 1/2 hour, absolutely gorgeous, drive from the Snow Lodge to Jackson. I don't think there is any way to get there other than driving.
