Beautiful remodelled rooms! We travel with our dog and Sandra front desk staff was truly genuine about providing us with the right room to meet our needs. After checking in I couldn’t get the keys to work in the door and she came down and assisted us, She even showed us the features of the room and how to get to all the free OnDemand channels. Sandra definitely is a great asset to this hotel! We experienced a great room at a good price. Truly enjoyed our stay.

We’ve been staying here for 15 years when we cone to town to visit our family. The hotel was recently renovated and is nice. Bed is comfortable and the bathroom is nice. They now provide Mr. Watkins brand shampoo, conditioner and body wash in pump bottles mounted in the shower. There is also a nice hair dryer, Breakfast is still grab & go but theirs is scrambled eggs, bacon or sausage, biscuits and gravy and cinnamon rolls. Hotel is convenient to lots of shopping.

The room and hotel were clean and comfortable. The property feels fresh enough. No complaints at all with any of that; expectations fully met.

The stars were the 2 staff members with whom we interacted. I should have noted their names. The lady at the front desk answered right away to provide availability and rate as we approached the area, and was great on the phone and upon arrival. Friendly, welcoming, professional, and efficient. Really good. And we interacted both mornings with a super lady at breakfast. She was so sweet. She saw we had yogurt and suggested we try a certain yogurt. She took our plates when finished. She even packed up a to-go bag of the yogurt and brought it to us, without asking, including the spoons, napkins, the whole deal. Though not expected at all, her service was far better than many sit-down restaurants. Expectations vastly exceeded. I hope management sees this and commends that lady; I think she'll know who she is.

Nothing not to recommend here. Great stay, would stay again, 5 stars.

Stayed here overnight, passing through. Requested a room with a balcony, but upon check in, the lady said because I had dogs that we had to stay on the bottom floor on the end. That was a bit upsetting. The room ended up being "ok". It was clean and comfortable, and she at least gave us a room with a patio slab with sliding doors, but no patio chairs to sit on when all the balconies had their own chairs. The breakfast was not bad. It's served from 6:00 a.m. till 10:00 and we got there at 9:30 and it's a good thing we did because they started closing up. The breakfast staff was very nice though, and offered us seconds on everything and even asked if we wanted to take it back to our room. would probably stay here again in a pinch, as there are not many pet friendly hotels with balconies, but you will be charged a $30 extra fee for your pet.

We’ve been staying at this hotel since it was built because it’s the only hotel in the area and near my family. It recently had a much overdue update. The rooms are nice, the lighting in the bathroom was excellent, the bed comfortable but they don’t use fitted bottom sheets so they slide around while sleeping. There wasn’t any coffee in our room for the coffee maker. The second day I left late & told the housekeeping staff when I left & asked them to clean up the room & give us fresh towels...she apparently forgot ( it was July 4th). My husband went back to the room after a round of golf the same day and no clean towels..had to get them from front desk. The fitness room is closed, as is the pool. Breakfast is “grab & go” and today when we checked out at 6:30 am it wasn’t out yet. Staff was wonderful and addressed all our concerns. We could see the pool from our room...it will be a long time before it is useable again.its the little things that make the difference.

Hi O6619YRcatherinep, Thank you for your review and for staying with us. We appreciate you preferring our hotel chain. While we are glad to hear you liked your room, the lighting in the bathroom and the comfortable bed, I am sorry for the oversight of our housekeeping team on the towels and some amenities. I have shared your comments with the Housekeeping Supervisor to check on lapses that need additional attention. Again, thanks for choosing to stay with us. We hope that you will get to enjoy the pool on your next visit! Sincerely, Connie D Case Manager IHGService

This hotel was a breath of fresh air. As Marriott Lifetime Titanium and nearing Globalist with Hyatt, I have found many properties declining in their standards. Staff were most impressive: Kathy and Debbie at the front desk were exceptionally engaging making me feel welcome throughout my stay. The soft-spoken lady serving breakfast was warm and cheerful. Ms. Wilson in housekeeping was most helpful with a great sense of humor. Our room was clean. The four pillows were both feather and foam. All our needs were responded to promptly and with cheerfulness. It was a hotel to remember!

I was pleasantly surprised by this hotel. Conveniently off a major road, it was very clean and comfortable. 'Check in on the app in advance was quick and easy, and once at the hotel I was greeted by a very pleasant attendant. It took all of two minutes to sign one paper and pick up my room keys. The king bed room was very clean and attractively furnished, with a microwave, small refrigerator and coffee maker. Furniture included a nice TV, a desk, night stands with clock and a kind of small sofa with one end elevated to lie down while sitting up. The bathroom was not cramped and featured a lighted mirror, sink, and a large walk-in shower. The room was very quiet and the bed very comfortable. They feature a hot breakfast, but since I did not have a chance to sample it I cannot say more about it. All in all I was very satisfied with my stay.

We called the hotel directly to get a room for a Saturday night, as looking online it kept coming up as "unavailable for those dates". We talked to Sandra and she was able to get us a room after all. We arrived around 9:30 in the evening and the parking lot was packed. Never seen it this crowded before, as we do stay at this hotel often when in town. I was a bit worried that it would also be noisy. We had a quick, very friendly check in with Sandra herself.
Our room on the 4th floor was nice, clean and actually quiet considering the hotel was booked solid that night with different groups staying there. There were a few folks coming back to their rooms later that night who were talking very loudly in the halls. (no fault of the hotel at all) We did not have the complimentary breakfast but I'm sure it is good. There is a mini fridge, microwave and coffee in the room.
Later on that day when we were home we realized we may have left something in the room. We called the hotel and talked to Sandra...who went up to the room herself to check to see if our item was there. It was..under the bed, and she called us back. BIG thanks to her for doing that!
We felt the hotel did all they could to adhere to the Covid cleaning standards and protocols. We will definitely stay here again.

This is an awful hotel. Very dirty. No management oversight or attention to quality. In the front of the hotel sits a broken down car that has clearly been there a long time. Housekeeping is terrible. Both of our rooms had no toilet paper. One bed lacked a sheet. Another bed had a sheet with a dirty boot print on it. The Kleenex box was completely empty except for 2 wadded up used Kleenex at the bottom. The carpets not vacuumed. When the Manager contacted about these issues, he blamed it on lack of staff/ COVID. However, there is NO excuse for lack of oversight of current (rude) housekeeping staff. Why not do quality checks to be sure rooms clean?? Why not TRAIN your staff and take responsibility for providing quality service? Can I pay a “COVID rate” then?? To correspond to the crappy conditions this hotel provided my family ?

This hotel is conveniently located with regard to I-74. The room was clean and quiet, the breakfast the usual HIE fare. We appreciated the mini-frig and microwave in the room. Alas, the hallway was indescribably dirty, as if no one had vacuumed or shampooed the carpet in ages. This may well be due to staffing issues, but over the past year we have stayed in dozens of hotels that are short staffed yet still manage to keep the facility clean. If staffing in the housekeeping department is the issue, then management needs to come up with a new plan that takes this reality into account.
