Decent one night stay. On the Hilton app, I picked a corner room so that I didn’t have neighbors on one side of me. I didn’t realize until I arrived to check in that the hotel is split into two. Floors 3-8 are under Homewood Suites and floors 9-14 are for Hampton Inn. No identification requested during check in, just name and keys were handed over without verification - second Hilton in 30 days that failed to follow basic security standards. Rooms are decent size, full kitchen with dishwasher, fridge/freezer, and two burner stovetop. The bedroom had a ceiling fan which helped to circulate air. Breakfast was in a separate area near the front desk but nothing too spectacular. Premixed eggs, sausage, and other premade items. Juice, bread, and muffins were available but otherwise just standard grab and go fare. Parking is valet only at $42 per day otherwise you have to find your own self park option. Area is walkable across the bridge to KY and the stadiums but since this is a business district it is relatively quiet during the weekends. No reason to stay on this side of the river and pay valet prices when hotels on the KY side have free parking.

We stayed here for 3 nights, it was good. Very quiet rooms, my only issue would be the shower needed a good cleaning and re-caulking. The hot breakfast is just horrendous, every morning it was these weird taco bowls, extremely unappealing. Housekeeping did not show up at all so we kept requesting towels.
This hotel was just ok, they need better breakfast options.

The overall stay was nice. The beds and pillows were comfortable, the shower was nice. Complimentary soaps were available, along with some dishes for cooking if that’s what you wish to do. Room was very large and lots of space. Went down for complimentary breakfast and it was all gone so we had to go elsewhere. Other then the breakfast not being available during the times it’s listed to be served the stay was great.

Our stay was a bit of a disappointment. It was a lot of overpromising and underdelivering. I called (after an inordinate amount of time trying to navigate the ridiculous phone menu) the day before our stay to see if there was a possibility of checking in early, or least have our request noted. I was told that I could pop in upon arrival to town and see. So on the day of our stay, I popped in around noon and asked the front desk. I was told no rooms were ready yet, but if I came back at around 1:30-2pm, there should be something ready. I return at 2:30 to see if we could get in. The valet line was insane and had to drive around to find alternative parking (turns out the garage across the street is cheap and safe). I finally am able to make it back to the front desk at 2:50pm, only to be told that our room still isn't ready and that it should be ready in 5-10 minutes. So I sit in the lobby and have some coffee and line back up at the desk at 3:05pm. Room is still not ready. I repeat the process at 3:20pm...and still not ready. I finally leave to make the baseball game and my wife is left waiting for our room. The room is not ready until 3:50pm. Ridiculous that we went from checking in early to not getting our room almost an hour after the official check in time.
Add insult to injury, the staff had informed me on the call the previous that breakfast starts at 6am. We were hoping to get on the road early the next day, so 6 sounded great. It turns out, weekends are 7am which is a bit later than we hoped.
Then finally when we came down for breakfast at 7am, the lobby for the Homewood was roped off and we were directed to the Hampton desk (the one plus that the breakfast on that side was much better than the Homewood side). However, the front desk associate at the Hampton desk who said that they would check me out never did, and I found that out on my Hilton app (where my digital key never showed up during my stay).
I'm not sure I would stay again, with the issues we had. On top of that, the cost per night isn't a great value as the rooms were only ok.

I don’t like leaving bad reviews but I think this is a case of people being able to make informed travel decisions. We have stayed at this location in the Homewood Suites and the Hampton many times and have always been pleased but this time wasn’t quite as nice. I’m disappointed that the Hilton chain claims they have a stellar Covid cleaning protocol which is most certainly not true here. The first room they sent us to had the Lysol sticker on the door but smelled like dirty diapers when we opened the door (unbearable stench). The second room had the same sticker on the door with food in the sink and dirty dishes in the dishwasher. Luckily I had plenty of alcohol wipes with us and wiped down the entire suite (including the rods on the blinds). I do understand the whole industry being impacted by Covid and the reduced staff. I also don’t mind making the room clean and sanitized to my standards but don’t tell me you are sanitizing the room when you clearly aren’t even cleaning it well!
On a positive note, Heather at the front desk in the evening was wonderful. She was working the front desk checking people in and running around getting people towels, ice, toilet paper, paper towels and coffee. She is definitely an asset to your team.
We visit Cincinnati quite often but will probably stay somewhere else next time.

We had an early am appt in Cincinnati so we decided to come down the night before. The place was nice enough, but not what we expected for a normal Hilton. It started with the parking and I knew we'd be paying for parking since it's a dntn location, but surprised it was a detached parking garage. We had to leave the garage and go outside, but went the wrong direction and ended up with a long walk ahead of us, only to discover we could have gone the other direction and been much closer but there was no signage. Then we got to the front and there was not great signage. This woman heard us and said, "It's the one on the right. Take the elevator to the 2nd floor and check in." Huh? The 2nd fl??? Well, we did it, and there was a sign telling you to go to 2nd floor for check-in once you went through the door. Off the elevator there was a sign that said to go left for our appropriate hotel (this is apart of 2 adjoining hotels), but there was no one there. A maintenance guy heard us wondering where the check-in staff were and told us to go to the other side for the other hotel. I was confused since it was different, but went and there were 4 people there, and now the maintenance guy joined us. Why was no one at the other desk and they were all here?! They looked aggravated that we were imposing on them and asked if we used the app to check in; I said, 'no.' They said we could just use the app next time for easier check-in. It felt like they just didn't want to be bothered. Next we went to the room and it was nice and spacious, but a bit "worn;" the bedspreads had noticeable stains, a tear in a chair, and the cabinetry was older. The space is big and relaxing, but we had lots of little things that made it quite aggravating. We discovered we prefer a hotel with its own parking/direct access and friendly, welcoming staff. There was nothing wrong with it and the location to downtown Cincinnati was nice, but we opted for being out of town the next time we had to come back.

The staff, check in process, lobby and room were all great The parking attendant was friendly and helpful. However, you can only tip parking valet by text. Text stipulates minimum tip is $3.00. They then charge a 50 cent processing fee. Just hit me different.

First off there is no fan in the bathroom. Front desk had no idea of the vent was a fan or not and took two days to send up maintenance to tell us it wasn’t even a fan. We got a room with two beds for four family members and the bathroom is literally right next to the beds! Again, gross! And not private at all. The “bathroom” is a shower and toilet, that’s it. So after going to the bathroom you have to open a door to get to the sink/vanity to wash your hands. Gross. !!! The valet service was all over the place. Some would literally run to get your car, others would stroll. They only had one valet so sometimes had to wait 15 minutes before they got your car. On the last day the valet left our car at the end of the street making us walk down with all our baggage when he could have parked in empty spaces up front. The rooms were dingy and dark compared to the pictures. Would never stay here again.

I am a Corporate Operations Manager for a large construction company and I always stay in Homewood Suite Hotels all over the country. I have stayed in over 15 Homewood Suites locations and have stayed over 125 nights in the last year. I have never been in one of your hotels that has been this bad. The only other time I had an issue was in the Louisville East location.
There was food and debris beside the refrigerator. The hotel room was extremely filthy. The sofa had stains all over it. the thermostat didn't work. The walls looked they have not been cleaned in years. The hotel supervisor booked me for the wrong days and didn't seem like she knew what was going on. I am no expert on knowing when someone is under the influence of a drug, however, it seemed like she was bouncing all over the place and couldn't focus on anything. The hotel room keys didn't work half of the time and I had to keep getting new keys programed. We asked for one of the employees at the front desk to bring us up some shampoo and conditioner and he told us to meet him at the front desk and refused to send it up to our room.
I normally travel for business but on this occasion I brought my family for a weekend vacation and it was a disaster as far as the hotel room. I have always bragged to my wife how great Homewood Suite hotels are and I was completely embarrassed. I have been a Hilton Honors member for over a year but after this complete lack of care for the cleanliness of the rooms and customer service I will be looking else where to stay on business. I am extremely disappointed in my stay at this location.

At check in, the guests before us has been offered complimentary waters and were explained in depth how to use the elevator with the key car. This service were not offered to us. After checking into our room, we found other guests dirty articles of clothing, making us wonder if the room had actually been cleaned. When reporting this to the front desk, they offered to retrieve the articles of clothing and give us a 50% discount. We opted for a total refund because they did not offer to re-clean the room and had no other rooms available. They did not offer us credit towards a future stay, nor did they cover the cost of parking. We had to drive two hours home.
