The renovation on this historic building was done very well. I loved the attention to detail as well as how well the design incorporated modern touches while retaining the original charm of the building. We were on the 8th floor with a city view and experienced a lot of traffic noise. I would oot for a quiet room over a view in the future. This was offered upon check-in and we opted for a view not expecting the noise to both us. Great location for exploring downtown Cincy. Breakfast was very basic, but sufficient. Staff was very friendly!

We are from the tri-state area but we're planning on attending Comic Expo so wanted a location close to the convention center. We chose this hotel because it is an easy walk from the convention center and also to Fountain Square. We were very excited when we arrived and saw what a fabulous job they had done renovating the building. They have maintained the charm & beauty of the historic building while providing all the mod/cons. The lobby and basement gaming area are beautiful. The room was pleasantly decorated and comfortable. There was a lot of great lighting & easily accessible outlets. The kitchen area is well stocked. My only complaint is minor & that is that for the vertically challenged (like me), some of the kitchen items are hard to reach. The breakfast was decent. All of the staff was super friendly and efficient. A special shout out to Scott who made us feel like VIPs. The Bonvoy app was down again but that is not the hotel's fault. We would definitely stay here again & recommend it to others.

I have to start that I am from Cincinnati and the city has gone through SO MANY changes. Many that are hard for me to see but I have to say that on my last visit home, staying downtown gave me a more intimate view. It was nostalgic to stay across the street from what used to be Sillitoe's at a new Cincinnati hotel. The TownePlace Suites is a new gem in the Cincinnati downtown area! We were greeted by Tony and Cameron; the valets and that started off a great stay. After handing over the keys, we walked into a beautifully bright, open, inviting lobby area! I enjoyed the art work on the walls and the fun yet homey décor. Ronnie checked us in and he was very friendly, professional, and knowledgeable. I soon found out that all the front desk associates were that way! Jordan, Charnise and Shondale were equally as helpful, welcoming and professional! The rooms at Townplace are all suites so having a microwave, refrigerator, coffee maker and sink all came in handy! Beside the appliances, the room décor was again inviting, comfortable and modern. The bathroom was a wonderful size with a large shower. There were ample plugs and mirrors with is also very important. I am excited to say that I was able to meet the person that make this new hotel destination in Cincinnati run so smoothly. The GM; S.Turner is wonderful. It is no wonder everything and everyone is a cut above. She made me feel like I was truly back home. If you are from Cincinnati or visiting for the first time. For a “feeling” of home… Try the Towneplace Suites. I can’t wait to go back

My husband and I stayed at this hotel for four nights. The hotel is within walking distance to Great American Ballpark. We felt safe walking to and from the game. The hotel was very clean. I called the hotel prior to booking to ask about cleaning service. I was told the hotel offers a tidy service. Once at the hotel, I requested the tidy service. I was told they did not offer a tidy service. This was frustrating because I was told that the tidy service was offered. The tidy service was to include taking out the trash, making the bed, and restocking toiletries and bath towels. I requested a room on the back side of the hotel to avoid street traffic. The hotel was quiet other than really noisy guests who were attending the Pure Romance conference. I called the front desk and the front desk attendant addressed the situation. My husband and I chose to do self parking in the neighboring parking garage. The garage was very reasonably priced. I was given a hearing impaired room. I did not book a hearing impaired room. I am unsure of why I was given a hearing impaired room when my reservation clearly stated that I reserved a regular king room. I was frustrated that I did not get the room I booked and paid for. The staff was very nice and helpful during our stay. Breakfast was plentiful the first few mornings. However, breakfast items were not well stocked the last day. It was an average experience.
