We booked a room with a crib for my baby. We arrived exhausted for checkin at 9pm and were assured the pack n’play was already in the room and set up. Arrived in the room and it wasn’t even there. Called the front desk to let them know. When they finally brought the pack in play the staff member refused to set it up. She handed it to me and said “we don’t set it up” When I opened it to begin setting it up I realized it was also delivered without sheets (meanwhile I’m a mom traveling solo with an exhausted screaming baby). So I had to call for the sheets. When the sheets were delivered I mentioned I was struggling to set it up and that every other hotel I’d ever stay at set up the cribs for babies recognizing that they too are guests. The exceptionally rude staff member replied “it was a liability issue”. Which honestly seems to be a Lie given at checkin I was told it would be set up. Once set up, the cot was stained and falling apart. It was just awful. To top that off, the bed was horribly uncomfortable and the place is kind of a dump. Definitely in my top 3 worst hotel experiences…
I was very pleased with my stay here, customer service was excellent. Front desk superb, wonderful manager. The breakfast was not to my likening but everything else was great. Wonderful location, shopping and plenty of restaurants nearby.
I'm honestly confused about all the 5 star reviews for this hotel. Pros: Nice location. Gentleman working the check-in desk was helpful & friendly. (2 of my 3 "stars" go to him). Cons: Pool chemicals were super strong. Room was so dirty! Cobwebs in the corners, dirt on walls, questionable stains on curtains & bedding. Literally the worst hotel breakfast we have EVER had. We left and had breakfast elsewhere. I would not stay here again unless I had no other choice.
My husband and 2 kids stayed here just for an overnight trip and we loved it. The staff was awesome and our room was super clean. We would definitely stay here again. The only downfall was the breakfast didn't have gravy..lol But other then that I would recommend this hotel to anyone.
Unfortunately, if you reserve a king room (not a king suite), there is only 1 room, which is accessible and is on the first floor, neither of which we were happy with. However, the manager, Cindy Knippenberg, was extremely nice. Since the hotel was sold out completely, there was nothing she could do, but she made it a decent stay for us. The breakfast is not normal Marriott standards. There were premade waffles (not very good), and instant oatmeal. But overall, it was a decent place. Clean, staff was very nice. People truly can make up for other issues. Would stay there again.
Hotel rooms are confortable and clean (we had two rooms reserved). Bathroom had some black mold in the corner, which required attention. Our coffee maker didnt work so we had to request a new machine. Front desk staff were nice and helpful. We came during a weekend where the hotel was fully booked. The kitchen dinner was packed and only one staff person to do it all. She did a great job running to get everything done but the dining area truly needed a second staff person.
The hotel was very clean and the staff was very helpful and quickly brought me any items I requested. The complimentary breakfast was delicious! They had the regular breakfast items like yogurt, cereal, and juices, along with hot scrambled eggs and two kinds of sausages. I accidently left an item in my room after check out and Cindy called to let me know so that I could pick it up, They really go out of their way for their guests!
I stayed at this property two separate nights, each week over the past 4 weeks for business travel. The front desk staff is excellent and friendly! Never an issue with check-in, check-out, or accommodations. The fitness center was nice and didn’t have any issues with cleanliness. Quite stays every time and perfect location to my work, shopping, and dining options.
I live in Florida but I use to travel very frequently to Cincinnati for business. So far, I have stayed in this great hotel several times. The place is really quiet and nice. It’s surrounded by many restaurants, shopping malls, gas stations, grocery stores and many other interesting places. The parking lot is free, there is a fitness room, a climate pool, a laundry room, and they serve a great breakfast and coffee (even though in Covid times). Rooms are always clean and confortables. And the best of everything is the hotel staff. They are such a nice team who is ready to help you and please you all time. I really love this hotel!
They were kind enough to move some things around and check me in early. Didn’t act like it was a big deal or anything. Helpful with restaurant suggestions but almost everything around is a chain. Huge mall and shopping right next door. Good rates and clean.
