Stayed here while in town for a concert. Staff was friendly...room was clean....breakfast was tasty....parking was good....actually no complaints whatsoever....would definitely stay here again should the need arise...if I absolutely had to pick something that was not quite up to par...bed could have been a little more comfortable...but that maybe just personal taste.

The staff and property was EVERYTHING! First off, Chevy, Vivian, Miss Pat, Cameo and Deb was all friendly, knowledgeable, and accommodating! One of ladies from housekeeping is the best! I suffered a stroke so I can’t remember her name, but she worked on the 5th floor. She was nice and pretty and helped with Netflix so I could watch “all American” lol. I want to acknowledge her! And everyone else lol. The hotel was near downtown. The room was CLEAN and NO critters! The breakfast was good. The parking lot was safe. And I saw sanitize safety practices. I felt safe! And I saw antibacterial gels all over. The pool was nice too. Masks was required for unvaccinated guests. I chose to wear my mask. I recommend this hotel!

The room & lobby have a nice decor. The gym is below average. The pool was not open during our stay. The "hot breakfast buffet" per the website was not offered for over a year & blamed on COVID then on management by Pat at the front desk, who also weakly referenced a boiler plate notation on the website that 'some amenities may have changed due to COVID'. "Breakfast" was instead a packaged muffin (400 calorie), a chocolate chip bar & a piece of fruit- a diabetic's nightmare. It's beyond frustrating when places don't properly update their website in over a year & when they dishonestly blame management's preferences/ cost savings on COVID. I've been to many hotels in 5 states & 2 countries whom I respect their heart for serving theri guests by graciously figuring out to offer their advertised breakfast buffet in a COVID environment.

My husband and I are traveling for a soccer tournament with our kids. My husband, as Titanium level Marriott rewards member, has stayed at countless Marriott locations throughout the world. This Cincinnati Eden Park location was voted by him as the most unkept, disappointing hotel he’s ever experienced by Marriott. There are large stains on the floors, walls and furniture. A broken bathroom door that won’t close, leading to no privacy in the shower. TV is on the fritz and can’t count on working or turning off. There are clogged pipes in the bathrooms that force tub and sink to fill up while using. And finally, corners of furniture (couch) and room that have built up dust, exposing poor sanitation and cleaning practices. Finally, the only request we had at check in was to not face the highway. Our view is included in the photo album. Noise was not a major issue or we would have switched, but we did face the highway. We will not be staying here again and wouldn’t recommend to anyone.

Dear Lanetraveler2015, Thank you so much for your honest feedback! Maintaining a clean atmosphere within our guest rooms and common areas is always a key priority, especially during these unprecedented times. Although, most of our guests give us high marks in their reviews, it appears we have 'dropped the ball' during your stay! I truly am sorry for your experience and I'd love to connect with you and discuss how we can make it right. At your convenience, I would very much appreciate the opportunity to connect via phone. Hotel phone number is 513.381.8300. Kindest regards,

We were traveling from north of Cincy and our GPS got us off on the wrong exit (Martin Luther King Drive). We drove thru a very undesirable neighborhood and had serious doubts about where we'd made reservations. We decided to stay as it looked clean and the staff was very friendly. Our room was nicer than we expected and changed our minds about the hotel. The lobby is very sparce, due to the virus, and we did not take advantage of the free morning breakfast. Our room was large, very clean and met our needs. We'll for sure consider this hotel during our next visit to Cincinnati.

There is a daily parking fee even when there is ample parking at this hotel and surrounding area. Inside feels old and dark. Sound buffering between rooms not so great, pillows are too soft. The grab and go breakfast was good.

Rooms are big, clean and modern at a great price. They did a good job with breakfast in the COVID era as well. Chevy at the front desk was wonderful. I travel a lot for work so will definitely stay here again.

Although I’m a Titanium elite member with Marriott, I’m not a fan of the Springhill Suites brand since the prototype/layout can vary by location. The layout of the room here was particularly strange with the shower and vanity in one room and the toilet and a pedestal sink in another. First time I’d ever seen that although I don’t book Springhill often. Nevertheless, the hotel room and common areas were clean, it was fairly quiet even though the property was right off the interstate and the front desk staff was pleasant. However, breakfast was on the skimpy side with boiled and powdered eggs, cereal, pineapple and fresh strawberries but no waffle maker, a limited selection of breads and only pork sausage, no bacon, chicken or turkey sausage which you usually find on most breakfast buffets these days. Overall, not a bad stay, but pricey for a mid level property.

We traveled in with a group of about 20 from Pittsburgh as our daughter’s band was opening for the Alan Jackson concert on the 10th. We had booked 5 rooms. Some arrived on Thursday and some on Friday. When my group arrived on Thursday night (1-9-20) we had a seamless check in with very friendly attendants but our favorite part was the awesome security guard. He was so engaging with the guests and funny. We loved meeting him. I also need to give Kudos to Catie in housekeeping. She was so accommodating with our requests for extra towels and toiletries. We had an incredible time and appreciated all of the staff’s professionalism and friendliness.

This was our second time saying here over Christmas, and we came back because we had a great experience two years ago. We still very much liked the rooms, the pool, the location (though beware that parking costs $10/day), and this time all of that was good again, but breakfast was a big disappointment. We were there 4 days, and only on one of the days did they put out the waffle maker. The other days there was eggs and sausage instead. In my opinion, these should all be offered every day. In addition, the baked goods were stale (the lemon poppy seed bread in particular), and of the 4 breakfast cereals offered, 3 were very high in sugar (fruit loops, frosted flakes, and granola). There weren't any basic low-sugar options like Cheerios or Rice Krispies. There was a big pot of oatmeal that was very watery every day. So, my advice to this hotel is to re-vamp the breakfast ASAP. Bring out the waffle maker every day. Make sure the baked goods are fresh, prepare the oatmeal properly (or offer a microwave and oatmeal packets), and substitute Cheerios for either the Fruit Loops or Frosted Flakes. These small changes would make a big difference!

Dear ebleimund, Thank you for taking the time to complete feedback on you most recent stay with us. We are so thankful that you have stayed with us during your holidays over the last two years. That is such a great thing, I am very happy to hear that you find mostly all our amenities, other than breakfast of course, help to make your stay so enjoyable. I appreciate your comments regarding the breakfast. The feedback you provided is so valuable. I would like you to know that our breakfast follows the exact standard that our brand,Spring Hill Suites, provides to us. We are required to follow the breakfast plan that they have given us. I am sure in the future there will be a revamp of the breakfast selections. I will also look at the product quality. I do thank you for the information though. It will be helpful for the future. Again, I am very sorry if the breakfast caused you experience to be negative in any way. We hope you will comeback and stay with us during the next holiday season or any time your travels bring you back to Cincinnati. We look forward to serving you again in the future. Thank you! Sincerely, Aaron Bedik General Manager
