Stayed here while in town for a concert. Staff was friendly...room was clean....breakfast was tasty....parking was good....actually no complaints whatsoever....would definitely stay here again should the need arise...if I absolutely had to pick something that was not quite up to par...bed could have been a little more comfortable...but that maybe just personal taste.
The staff and property was EVERYTHING! First off, Chevy, Vivian, Miss Pat, Cameo and Deb was all friendly, knowledgeable, and accommodating! One of ladies from housekeeping is the best! I suffered a stroke so I can’t remember her name, but she worked on the 5th floor. She was nice and pretty and helped with Netflix so I could watch “all American” lol. I want to acknowledge her! And everyone else lol. The hotel was near downtown. The room was CLEAN and NO critters! The breakfast was good. The parking lot was safe. And I saw sanitize safety practices. I felt safe! And I saw antibacterial gels all over. The pool was nice too. Masks was required for unvaccinated guests. I chose to wear my mask. I recommend this hotel!
The room & lobby have a nice decor. The gym is below average. The pool was not open during our stay. The "hot breakfast buffet" per the website was not offered for over a year & blamed on COVID then on management by Pat at the front desk, who also weakly referenced a boiler plate notation on the website that 'some amenities may have changed due to COVID'. "Breakfast" was instead a packaged muffin (400 calorie), a chocolate chip bar & a piece of fruit- a diabetic's nightmare. It's beyond frustrating when places don't properly update their website in over a year & when they dishonestly blame management's preferences/ cost savings on COVID. I've been to many hotels in 5 states & 2 countries whom I respect their heart for serving theri guests by graciously figuring out to offer their advertised breakfast buffet in a COVID environment.…
My husband and I are traveling for a soccer tournament with our kids. My husband, as Titanium level Marriott rewards member, has stayed at countless Marriott locations throughout the world. This Cincinnati Eden Park location was voted by him as the most unkept, disappointing hotel he’s ever experienced by Marriott. There are large stains on the floors, walls and furniture. A broken bathroom door that won’t close, leading to no privacy in the shower. TV is on the fritz and can’t count on working or turning off. There are clogged pipes in the bathrooms that force tub and sink to fill up while using. And finally, corners of furniture (couch) and room that have built up dust, exposing poor sanitation and cleaning practices. Finally, the only request we had at check in was to not face the highway. Our view is included in the photo album. Noise was not a major issue or we would have switched, but we did face the highway. We will not be staying here again and wouldn’t recommend to anyone. …
We were traveling from north of Cincy and our GPS got us off on the wrong exit (Martin Luther King Drive). We drove thru a very undesirable neighborhood and had serious doubts about where we'd made reservations. We decided to stay as it looked clean and the staff was very friendly. Our room was nicer than we expected and changed our minds about the hotel. The lobby is very sparce, due to the virus, and we did not take advantage of the free morning breakfast. Our room was large, very clean and met our needs. We'll for sure consider this hotel during our next visit to Cincinnati.
