Easy exit from I75 and back on the next morning. Staff were always courteous and helpful. Their recommendation for a good restaurant proved to be a wonderful experience at Blinkers Pub 3 min from the hotel on the side streets. An American hot breakfast was great. Coffee in the room with real creamers helped to start off the day. The shower was super strong and the bed and bedding were excellent. The only drawback being close to the highway, is the noise. We used earplugs to dull it. All in all 4/5 stars. Thank you.

Hotel's Favourite
Stayed here for 5 days. We had a corner suite - sadly it was a joint room with the door in the living room - don’t know if all suites are like that but I dislike joint rooms due to lack of privacy since I could hear neighbor. Loved the location. Multi level parking lot next to hotel - it was convenient, always had spaces in upper level and elevator for easy access. Walking distance to many restaurants or shopping plaza. My only complaint was the cleanliness of the room. The floor was dirty with sticky substance - luckily we brought our sleepers and never walked barefoot. A good mopping will help clean floor! The housekeeping was on call, we were told to request it the night before when needed for the next day. The housekeeper we had was rude and barely cleaned. She just placed the towels and spot clean the bathroom floor. She never cleaned the living room floor. She pretended to make the bed by just covering it nicely with the converter but bed cover was not placed properly. She left without speaking - not have a nice day or good bye. I think she was a housekeeping supervisor - she didn’t wear the regular uniform the other housekeepers had. Hopefully they will improve this hiccup. Overall great place for business or to stay away from loud city. Breakfast is provided.

I have been staying at this hotel since it opened, as my kids go to nearby Xavier University. I loved this hotel for several years, and it is hard for me to say it has gone so downhill, I need to find a new hotel. I am a Platinum Elite Marriot member, and stay at other Residence Inns around the country for work, so am familiar with the standard. When we arrived, we had to move twice after the rooms they gave us were dirty. Dirty towels left in the bathroom, food on the floor and in the sick, etc. Our 3rd room appeared clean, but had a musty odor. The common spaces looked like they had not been cleaned for days. The former china/glass/silverware at the breakfast buffet 9standard in a Residence Inn) was now paper plates and plastic silverware. That may seem petty to complain about, but for the price of this hotel, it is not acceptable. Perhaps they are short-staffed as many facilities are? Figure it out, or shut down and remodel before you lose more business.

The hotel itself was nice with modern furniture. The breakfast was good, pool was fine, and the area is wonderful with many good restaurants close by. However, for the money we felt there were some issues. To start, there were stains on all the comforters, 3 of the 6 pillow cases, ( we asked for new ones) and furniture, etc. The floor had hair and sticky stuff on the table and chairs. We didn’t complain to management because when I first brought down the pillow cases it seemed like we were an annoyance versus getting an apology for what seems like a reasonable concern when you are paying over $200 a night. One stain on a comforter happens, but both comforters, and three makeup stained pillows? That made me concerned of the cleanliness of everything. Considering we just are exiting the covid world, and the hotel is relatively new and the lobby, and furniture were all modern and beautiful, this was disappointing. We would stay again due to the location but you are probably better off at a reputable air bnb.

Stayed three nights in a one bedroom suite. The rooms are large and clean and the breakfast is very good. Our room was not serviced on the second day, but the front desk provided clean towels on request when I went down to ask for some. The main problem is that the hotel nickels and dimes customers. We had to extend our stay an extra night. I did so at the front desk rather than online, assuming direct human interaction might be efficient. However, the next morning I noticed that we were charged $60 more than the price that had been offered on the official Marriott website for the same room and night. When I politely asked why no one had bothered to mention that it was substantially cheaper to book online at the front desk, I was told that was not their job. When I emailed Marriott’s price guarantee portal, I was told to read the fine print (even though the bold print of the price guarantee clearly states booking directly with a Marriott hotel ensures the lowest rate). So if you like getting ripped off by a hotel chain apparently indifferent to basic principles of rationality and fairness, go for it I guess. Personally, I don’t enjoy getting fleeced and will take my future business elsewhere.

Room clean and well maintained. Breakfast above average and seating well spaced. However not a mask in sight. ALL hand sanitizer dispensers at elevators and some other locations were empty. The advertised outside grill, one, is in the middle of a concrete jungle essentially devoid of vegetation. Slept very well. Love the variety of pillows.

This Residence Inn is located next to lots of shopping and dining. The hotel staff were wonderful and the rooms were clean. For the most part, it was quiet, but we did have a corner suite with a door to the next room. We could hear a little bit of noise when we sat in the living room area, but overall, it was fine. We would definitely stay here again!

Whenever you see a team that's all on the same page with customer service? You notice it. Staff at Residence Inn Cincinnati Midtown Rockwood was friendly, alert and awake! Smiles were in abundance everywhere and the overall concern of everyone was to take care of your "Next Thing". Again, very noticeable and pleasant to be taken care of like that. I never waited more than 5 seconds for an elevator and loved the room layout. including the small island table with chairs where i enjoyed every single meal while watching the gigantic adjustable TV. Nice room, nice staff, nice place.

Great facilities in a good location. Friendly and helpful staff. Easy parking. Room a great size and very covid safe. Gym has good equipment and the guest laundry is inexpensive. Restaurants around are good particularly the taco restaurant next door. Excellent work Marriott.

We booked a last minute trip to Cincinnati to attend a few Reds games and found this location to have rooms available. The rate listed online was ~165 or so per night and they only had a few left so we booked it. When we arrived, despite having plenty of points to use for our stay we were told that we couldn’t use points and the rate would be ~230/night. Despite that setback, the gentlemen at the front desk did his job quickly, just wasn't very personable. They also charge $8 additional per day to park your car. You may want to consider the parking garage is not attached to the hotel - that was not a deal breaker for us. When we got to the room we immediately dropped off our bags and ran out the door to get dinner prior to the ball game. About the dinner – there are loads of restaurants within walking distance of this hotel so that was a positive here! Upon returning from the game later that evening we were interested in getting some ice and a drink- well this hotel has no ice makers - they are in the room units and they are slow at making nice. Be nice if they turned those on when they expect guest in - or remind guest to turn them on. We went to get a glass out of the cabinet and they were all wet; like they had just been washed and not dried. We asked if we could get paper cups and were told they had none, and after expressing displeasure in the experience 10 minutes later a knock at the door and we had cups –at our feet when we answered. That was a nice surprise and recovery from a bad experience. Course as we were looking for cups, we discovered that one of the cabinets had a bottle of hard liquor in it. The clean-up crew had not done a very good job cleaning before our arrival, either that or the stash was their own? When decided to take showers and get ready for bed and discovered that the main light in the bathroom was burned out so the bathroom was not very bright, not a big deal just another chip in the we don't maintain our property as well as we should and a serious knock on the Marriott brand. When we made our beds for the evening; we discovered hair on the pillow cases - likely never changed from the prior guest! Personally I’d have flipped over the pillow but it grossed my daughter out! When we went to close the curtains for the night we found that they would not close all the way; the track is damaged or jammed so we had lights from outside coming in all night. We attempted to communicate all of these issues with the front desk, they informed us that they would notify the manager and that they would be in touch. We never heard from them – guess they were too busy to hear about problems they likely already know about! We pressed the issue and called in directly; they were not very helpful, but eventually we went up the chain of command and were offered $200 back for all our troubles - though I still haven't seen the credit hit my account. Honestly overall the hotel is in a great location; I think its just poorly managed. Hopefully they get things under control before they run it into the ground; that would be a shame!
