Bad air conditioning unit - window type which is ancient now. Made so much noise that we couldn't sleep. This seriously needs to be changed. The other issues were manageable but because the weather is on the warmer side, air conditioning affected us.
Really enjoyed this property! Great location!! Close to tons of restaurants and shopping! Walk easily to the beach! Jaime at the front desk was awesome!! Great pool and hot tub. Would come back again!!
Pat was pleasant and efficient at check-out. Brian was cordial and accommodating at check in making out Stay feel like family and home. the facilities were up to expectations providing a convenient set of stays .
The location is great, but overall the hotel is definitely dated and could do with a makeover. Some of the rooms are better than others. I probably wouldn’t stay there again. The staff are nice and accommodating.
I spent a very good time in Waikiki for a week with my daughter. The Aqua Skyline at Island Colony, was a very nice hotel. We were very happy to find it and to meet staff overthere. Thanks a lot, hope to come back soon with all my family. Mahalo
Stayed here for a last minute sporting event. The price was right, the room very comfortable, access to Waikiki, easy to locate, eatery was available, friendly workers, security very attentive, area was secured for safety. A little outdated but it suited us just fine. Would definitely be back.
My room and my brothers room both had roaches and the only thing the hotel did was offer to spray the room down. Hotel refused to change room. The 20th floor view was amazing beside the residences always complaining.
Upon arrival we were notified that the Pool and Spa were closed for maintenance for almost the entire duration of our stay. They re-opened on the 21st Nov and we departed on the 22nd Nov. Traveling with a young child and having specifically chosen Aqua Skyline because of the pool this was very disappointing. To add to the disappointment when staff were asked if the hotel had made arrangements for guests to use a neighboring hotel/apartments pool during the maintenance period the answer was "no, but there is a beach just down the road". This shows a complete lack of foresight by management and detracted from what would have otherwise been a been a great stay. The pool closure was not listed anywhere on your website, or on third party booking sites like Hotels.com. I appreciate that closing amenities for maintenance is necessary but putting a little bit more thought into how this might affect guest experience and how you could offer a good alterative during that time would not go amiss. …
Had a great room on the 39th floor with an amazing view of Diamondhead, KoKo, head, and all of Waikiki. Super great stuff, wonderful café down on the ground floor, walking distance to all. Highly recommend it!
We had a very great staycation. The check in was easy and our room was clean. The staff at the front was very helpful and the other staff we encountered were pleasant. I'm glad they had parking in the building and I felt our car was safe.
