Our 1st impression of this hotel wasn't so great coming up to being dropped off at the entrance to check in.. It's a small distance away from the action & an older hotel or possible prior apartment that has been renovated. Be careful with additional charges when checking in.. We were explained about all the charges which we were then...

My recent stay at the Lotus was my second experience there. The hotel's location, away from the crowds in Waikiki but close enough for an easy walk, with a view of Diamond Head and the ocean from most rooms, is perfect for guests who want the best of Hawaii's beaches and also proximity to the excellent restaurants, museums, and other...

This is a wonderful hotel. The people are very friendly and treat you like family. The location is great. Quiet, yet walking distance to the store and the busier part of town. I nice little secluded beach as well.

Absolute gem of a hotel and exceeded our expectations for our first visit to Oahu. We arrived fairly late in the evening by hire car so we were a bit disorientated but the staff were super friendly and helpful, we could park our car under the hotel and know it's safe for our time there. A short walk to Waikiki...

Loved the Lotus! Wanted to be out of the hustle and bustle and not opposed to getting a little exercise to find breakfast and lunch spots! Awesome service, water bottles in our car before every excursion, great advice on getting around the island. Thanks to Shelly at Tropical Travelers for finding this little gem for us. We were here for...

Rooms were great, but the location isn't. There's easy enough access to a small beach, however I was disappointed at the lack of dining alternatives in the immediate area. Breakfast is poor, and with no options nearby it meant heading into Waikiki each morning - which we were trying to avoid. Nothing bad about the place at all, but the...

The rooms are more beautiful than through website (ocean view). Location is awesome because downtown is very crowded and noisy, but you still keep walk distance to restaurants, stores, bus. Sunset is perfect. Staff is 100% friendly.

We stayed at the Lotus the first two nights of our Hawaiian vacation after flying into Oahu. It's located at the very end of "the strip" so it's nice and quiet. We were on an upper floor, so the view from our room was spectacular (the beach as well as Diamond Head).

Wasn't sure about location upon arrival in the dark but woke up to awesome view of Diamond Head and ocean (granted, the high rises between the Lotus and the beach are a bit of a bummer). We stayed in this hotel one night on arrival in Honolulu and two nights on departure, and the property and staff really grew on...
