Lotus at Diamond Head is an odd duck. It's clearly an older hotel that's been renovated to more modern standards. Location is a bit of a bust, views are pretty bad, beach access isn't great, and there's only one elevator for the entire building (used by both guests and staff and it kind of has a mind of it's own)...

My two 17 year old sons & I stayed at this perfect hotel for us for 8 days of their Spring Break. We loved it & had a terrific time! The room had two excellent double beds, flat screen TV, coffee maker, large safe, small fridge, free WiFi & wonderful lanei with gorgeous view of Diamond Head & partial view...

The rooms and service here is great. Lobby and rooms are very modern and ultra comfortable. A very peaceful place to stay away from the Waikiki noise. However, the rooms views are of other hotels and roads, even when you upgrade to ocean view. Everyone is so willing to help. The restaurant here is closed, but bakery goods and coffee...

We stayed for one week during the beginning of July. The fact that the hotel does not have a restaurant didn't bother us, There are so many great breakfast spots throughout Honolulu. Try Bill's, Kokohead Cafe or Kaila's to name a few. The fact that the hotel does not have a pool also didn't bother us, Kaimana beach has a...

We just returned from a 5 night stay at Lotus and could not have been more pleased. The service was head and shoulders above the big chains. Employees knew us by name, provided bottled water when we left on foot or in our rental car, offered towels and chairs when we left for the beach, and were always helpful and...

Beautiful, spotless room, peacefully decorated, very zen and serene. The hotel has a calm welcoming atmosphere. Hotel is away from the hustle of Honolulu and feels like a private club. The hotel staff is caring and professional. The real Aloha experience, you feel like you are staying as their personal guests. Walk right over to the busy Honolulu/Waikiki in a...

We had a one night stay here before moving in to a Condo. The hotel is absolutely great away from the bustle but just a dart to a secluded beach. Our corner room renovated to a high standard was spotless and had very good views too.Nice touch the free wine in foyer at 4pm and a chance to chat to...

I typically stay right in Waikiki or Ala Moana, simply because it is easy in/out. All of the 'usual suspects' were booked or out of my business allowance. This hotel is nestled right around Queen's beach within a stone's throw of diamond head. In fact, if lucky enough, as I, you will have a room with a FABULOUS VIEW of...

This is a little gem, only 15 minutes walk from central Waikiki. The rooms are a good size, and very modern and always clean. The guys on the ground floor who look after check in and the car park are very courteous and helpful. Always offering a bottle of water, or a towel for the beach, or chairs for the...

My family and I have come to Honolulu 7 times in the last 14 years, 7 different hotels & apartments (some very well known and big, some not so), but this place has been wonderful. Will certainly stay here again the next time we come to Honolulu. Doesn't have much in the way of breakfast, restaurants, pools, other facilities like...
