I have stayed here four times. I lay over for a few days on my way to and from Australia. I have always had a good reception when I arrive, and super service from the staff, they are very helpful and can answer many questions you have. A printing service for your flight check in is available, and there are...

They provide everything you need. Front desk is very friendly. If you are tight on budget, this is the best hotel for you. The location is so convenient and close to everything. ABC store is around corner. Bus stop is on the other side of street. 2 min walk to Waikiki beach. Free shows are there as well. It is...

Overall we enjoyed our stay in Waikiki Prince hotel. The room was very dated, but everything worked fine, and the kitchenette, while did not look a bit modern, was well equipped and useful. The room had the biggest number of power outlets we have ever seen in a hotel room, which was very convenient. Usually it is a challenge to...

Loved Loved Loved this hotel and the Waikiki area of Honolulu. Yes, it's old and not renovated, but it's clean and has everything you need. I stayed with my wife to run the Honolulu Marathon. You are 2 mins from Duke's statue/Waikiki Beach, you'll have delicious Kona coffee to drink on your cute little lanai, have kitchenette to use if...

A comfortable stay, Close to the beach, closer than many of the more expensive places. Our pre-booked room was ready before the stated check in time, so we were able to move right in. The balcony gets the morning sun, so by afternoon is shaded and would have a chance to cool in a hot season. Individual air conditioning unit...

Well this was an interesting place - it clearly used to be a cool seaside hotel or apartment complex, but it's fallen into disrepair a bit now. The room was in desperate need of a good scrub - just a feeling of general grotty-ness all over. But the bed sheets were clean (although there was a plastic underlay, so I...

Hello MissAS80, I am not sure what a "CRACK DEN" looks like and I hope that you don't know what the inside of one looks like also. This is pretty offensive since the biggest negative seems to be was the room was a little old and the air con was a little loud. Most tourist places are targets of crime...

The location is great, reception staff very friendly and helpful, just a single block back from Waikiki beach and 5 min walk to the shopping strip. There are plenty of places close by to eat. My only reservation and why I can't give this 5 stars is due to the dated room decore. The room and beds were clean and...

Aloha Sumoid, Thank you for writing a review. We are constantly improving our hotel each year as we try to modernize without shutting down the hotel for extended periods of time. We have replaced the TVs from tube to flat screen HD TVs and moved in some new furniture the past year. The year before that was security systems, wifi,...

The Waikiki Prince was exactly what we expected it to be. It was clean, functional and well located at an excellent price and that's what we were looking for. The kitchenette was very nice to have and allowed us to prepare breakfasts and lunches in the room and the distance to the beach made it so that we didn't need...

Aloha 12iggy12, Thank you for visiting our hotel. I am glad that you put the kitchenette to good use. Preparing a few meals on a vacation usually saves a bunch of money for other things. Sometimes when I go on vacation and want to use the pool. I find that the walk is further than going from the Waikiki Prince...

It is a great location one block from the Duke statue on Wakiki beach. Beach chairs and boggie boards to use was nice. The people were super nice. The rooms while not dirty but just plain old and need a little refreshing. For 2 short nights it was ok as who spends time in your room in Hawaii.

Aloha Jennifer S, Thank you for writing a review. We are constantly upgrading the hotel to provide more comforts and usefulness. Our current plan to to change slowly (see management response 2 up). We just want to make sure we do it right and not just fast and cheap as some other budget hotels have done. Mahalo, Jason J.

Aloha Akikoa 2016, I am glad you enjoyed your stay. We sometimes get confused for the Hawaii Prince Hotel Waikiki. Thank you for bringing up that point. We usually tell people to say "Waikiki Prince Hotel on Prince Edward st" but sometimes they take guests to the Hawaii Prince anyway. Mahalo Jason J
