Hotel La Croix (pronounced “La-Croy”) is a 192 room boutique hotel offering uncompromising value through a soothing and connected experience that will bring light to your spirit and soul.
Experience the best of both worlds, with both palm-tree filled parks and Luxury Row shops and dining both within your reach. La Croix, means “The Cross” (crossroads) in French. It's a fitting name, given that it prominently sits at the gateway of Waikiki on Kalakaua and Kuhio, the two main streets of Waikiki. Take in unobstructed ocean views, with the lapping waves just a short walk away.
The iconic words inscribed at the bottom of our photo-ready pool offer up our goals are for our guests: to experience the Island’s love + aloha.
We've put meticulous care into allowing our guests to connect with Hawaii during their stay. As you walk along the floors in your room, feel a sense of connection to the locally sourced hardwoods beneath your feet. Along the walls, too, we have routed solid wood piece by piece, just as Hawaiian royalty did at their beach houses over 100 years ago. As you sit on furniture refinished by local craftsmen, take in ocean views from your oversized lanai surrounded by real plants.
At Hotel La Croix, we are grateful of the opportunity to be the stewards of a landmark Property. Our goals are to serve and enrich the experience of our guests from all over the world with our love + aloha.
We stayed here for a short vacay to celebrate my first 50th year. It’s a hotel I would have overlooked had it not been for Vincent’s recommendation. The room was well furnished and clean upon arrival. The drinks at the bar that Vince made were excellent…especially the Mango Mule and Ube colada. The pool seemed small at first glance but as a lounge pool it was sufficient and a plus that it was seated as it was raining during our trip. Excellent service and welcoming staff as well!!!
I stayed in a penthouse suite and wow! Perfect, unobstructed view of Waikiki beach and the ocean since there’s a park right in front. The front desk staff are great and ESPECIALLY the turn down service from Mhila! Thank you for your kindness and attention! You replenished my room with anything I needed with a smile and warn tone. Thanks! Will come back anytime!
The hotel is clean and in a good location. However since there are no phones in the room, you have to go downstairs to reception for every request. Towels delivered once but not the second time. TV froze all the time so couldn't watch movies in the evening. One day upon returning to our room we discovered our room door wide open. After reporting this, we were told that our room in particular could not be seen by the security cameras since the elevator blocked the door. Fortunately nothing was taken. No apology. Our last day we ordered room service since we had quite some time before check out at 11. After waiting half an hour we went downstairs to check. The receptionist said the order didn't make it into the system but our credit card was charged. We were asked if we still wanted the order and we did so were told it would be expedited. Half an hour later still nothing. Went downstairs again and no explanation. The girl at the desk gave us the keys to the Terrace and said to help ourselves to lattes and she would refund our credit card. The latte machine was broken so back down we went. At this point we had to leave. She again said she would refund the credit card and apologized. It has not been refunded and I have emailed them twice (with the email address they provided) but have not been responded to. That's called stealing. Not impressed - won't recommend this hotel.…
Highly recommended for a wonderful stay in Waikiki. Great view of the ocean and sunset looking over the park. If you can do it, highly recommend a skyline or terrace room The view from the Skyline room is amazing! Comes with kitchenette that helps to save money. Comes with access to Monkeypod VIP room. The perks with this room made our stay even better. The staff of this hotel went out of their way to be sure we were happy! Excellent location. Tours and trips pick up and drop off at hotel door. ABC store at corner of property very convenient for food, sundries, souvenirs, liquor, etc. Overall awesome experience- would definitely stay here again.
This is my 6th time staying on them, and oh boy it feels like the very first time i came to see Hawaii, the service they provide is absolutely the best of the best. One of the many that i love about this hotel is the Monkeypod and i tell you is a must, the scenic view that this hotel can offer is a BAM!!!!!. Thanks to Precious for making my stay super enjoyable and memorable.. See you guys in a few months.
I spent most of my time at the pool and pool bar. All of the staff were very kind and friendly but Vincent the bartender was the absolute best. He kept us informed on the best places to be in hawaii and always had a smile on his face! View from our room was also amazing.
We’re a family that communicate with ASL. Our family met amazing young lady Renee in the Monkey Pod. Nice she was able to communicate to my husband and I with ASL talking about the amazing view. The place is amazing staff full of smiles. Room definitely clean. Our family would definitely be coming back soon.
Vincent made my stay at the hotel very welcoming being a solo traveler. He provided great recommendations on where to go and things to do, and great service and drinks at the pool. The hotel pool is very cute. The hotel is not far from the beach and other main attractions. The room was clean and the staff were all nice. There is an ABC convenient store next door and this was great for getting water and snacks.
Excellent location and really great staff. Valet parking only option but convenient. Lots of restaurants around to choose from and ABC store in hotel. Clean and recently renovated. Didn’t go to pool area but great happy hour prices and options. Staff was excellent in communication at all times. Would definitely come back!
Vincent was the best part of our stay he went over and beyond to make us feel like family and accommodate us. Vincent is the best bartender ever and very knowledgeable. Hotel is being remodeled but is okay just noisy. The other staff members were polite; however, no one compared to Vincent Royo I’m so glad we got to meet him.
