The location was good and the hotel staff was very friendly. However, the hotel urgently needs to undergo a total renovation. It was moldy in the bathroom. Sleeping next to the noisy street and the unlockable Hawaiian windows was only possible with ear plugs and an eye patch.

Tropical climate so tropical bugs were a bit too many. All about location, location, location. Everything is close at hand. Good bus system. Staff were very accommodating. Good internet connection in every room.

If you want affordable accommodations with steps to the beach this place is it. However the building and the rooms are showing their age and need a refresh. The front desk service was very friendly and accommodating.

Toilet came off the floor, when stood up from sitting it. The Handicapped Access room ( which I booked weeks (after talking to them on the Phone to assure they had a working pool and no stair access) in Advance with VERY SPECIFIC needs - NO stairs, hand held shower). I called 4 days in advance and was assured they had a room I could get into. What a disappointment!!!!! They didn't offer any price adjustment, but said they would cancel my Reservation which was not what I was looking for after 34 hours of travel. They did not offer any price adjustment for no pool, or any arrangement for another hotel that had better handicap access. Handicapped visitors beware BEWARE!!!

Arrived with my husband and 3 year old son in tow about 30 minutes before check in (3pm). This was all calculated because we had a luau to be at by 5p all the way on the otherside of Honolulu, and were not checked in until 4:15pm! My son was melting down, we needed to shower and the room was just never ready.The pool is being demolished ( no mention of that by the way) so don't expect any sense of peace during the day. We were late to our luau and missed the opening activities, the shower drain clogged and the remote control to watch tv had not enough batteries to function. ?!? That being said it is located 2 minutes from Waikiki beach so that is awesome, around the corner from International Marketplace and down the block from Honolulu coffee shop. The beds were super comfy and the kitchenette was helpful on saving money. Take your gamble.…

All services are available upon request and can be used easily. I'm a little worried because the door is locked. The location is also convenient. Equipped with refrigerator, microwave, hair dryer, small dishes and kitchen utensils, and IH heater. Kitchen detergent, sponges, toothbrushes, and laundry soap must be purchased at ABC stores. A shared coin laundry is also convenient. The best part is that the accommodation fee is very low and the location is good. There is a sofa and lanai so you can relax.

It was ok. Not the best place. The location and front desk workers were the best part of this location. The hallways were filthy. the room was dirty. It was nice to have a safe in the room. It was also nice to have a kitchenette as well.

Fantastic location, friendly staff and service. A cute hotel but needs a bit of a makeover and repaint as it’s showing its age. It used to be better with all the Hawaiian kitsch Nik naks in the foyer. Looks a bit plain now as the 1950’s architecture is pretty cool. It would be fabulous if it was restored.
