Room had kingsized bed, small bathroom, coffee machine, fridge, iron & ironing board, flatscreen TV, table & chairs. Wifi available in room. Safe in wardrobe. Swimming pool area ok with...

Thankfully we didn't have a cat, else my nightly ritual of swinging it would have been thwarted! Nevertheless, it was clean and well 'made up' each day. The double bed was too small, I'm 6'4 and 120kg and my wife is a 'size 12', so it looked like the hippo and chicken in the bed (but if anyone calls her...

From my experience, this hotel is a mixed bag. A friend of mine in the travel business used to refer to places such as this as "potential five star properties with three star management". But they seem to be coming around. I am charmed by the economy measures (A/C not on in an empty room, escalators off when nothing is...

Family of three (2 adults & 1 'soon to be' 3yr old). 8 night stay The hotel lobby is pleasant. Friendly staff. Checkin was easy. The hotel room was with the Diamond Head view. Fantastic to wake up to every morning. Stepping onto the balcony you also had a partial ocean view. This hotel is located on the quieter side...

Stayed 13 nights in March / April 2015 this year with my wife. As a senior reviewer with Tripadvisor I make sure I try to convey accurate information when submitting reviews. This hotel is just a few minutes walk from Waikiki Beach and all the tourist venues, pubs, cafes etc. The Queen Kapiolani is an older hotel but its in...

The hotel is located at the end of Waikiki beach. It's perfect with an amazing front desk staff. Check in was a breeze and our room was very well appointed with a/c, free wifi, and a mini fridge. Great lanai for relaxing with a cocktail. Great views from corner room of city and Waikiki beach. Pool has amazing views of...

We have stayed at this hotel before and have always loved it. It had been six years since our last stay and it has gone down hill so badly. We had a late arrival and upon check in was told they were sorry they didn't have any rooms on a higher floor, but to come back in the morning and...

You have to remember that you are paying a low price compared to main hotels (well at least I hope you are otherwise don't stay here) We paid a low price so all was acceptable. It is outdated but the beds were very comfortable. The aircon was not on and we never put it on. We slept well without it....

Ok, so we stayed here 3 nights. As we have read before, the rooms are not super updated, but they are clean. We personally had no roaches, nor did we see one at any point in our stay. We had a city and ocean view, as we were a corner room, which was nice. The only downside was the noise,...

Staff were very nice. Room was also nice too if it wasnt infested with cockroaches! Moms, babies, in my bed, fridge, bathroom, and my luggage! I tried to make sure that I did NOT take any of them home to California. But that totally ruined my sleep as I was too scared. They staff sprayed the room down twice but...
